Hola comunidad este es mi primer post acá y no voy a mentirles estoy un poco nerviosa, desde que descubrí está comunidad estaba buscando el día de poder compartirles algo, pero no me considero experta en ropa y tampoco tengo mucha entonces yo me dije a mi misma "mi misma cuando estés en tu semana de grado tendrás unos super oufits que compartir".
Y bueno aquí estoy, les compartiré mi oufit o pinta como decimos acá en mi país de la misa de grado, elegirlo no fue fácil porque yo quería algo bonito pero que no fuese muy exhibicionista porque al usarlo en una iglesia hay ciertos códigos de vestimenta que respetar.
Lo que si tenía claro es que quería un vestido, si leyeron mi post de en busca de oufit de graduacion sabrán que habían muchas opciones para la misa pero finalmente este fue elegido. Es un vestido sencillo y elegante negro, en la parte de arriba tenía un estilo de blusa campesina (es decir colocar las mangas en el antebrazo) pero no me sentía cómoda porque eso implicaba usar el brasier sin tirantes y yo sentía que los senos se me veían caídos, aunque toda mi familia me dijo que no se me veian así, igual me coloque las mangas como un vestido normal lo que me permitió usar el sujetador con tirantes y sentirme mas tranquila, no obstante se pueden apreciar los volados del vestido.
El vestido como pueden verlo es ajustado hasta la cintura y caía en una falda acampanada que me llegaba hasta mitad de la pierna, a mí me gustan estos estilos porque no me hacen ver gorda (y pues llevo desde enero batallando con mi peso para este magno evento), y me siento elegante y estilizada. Además que resaltan mi figura pero sin estar tan ceñido.
El maquillaje me lo hizo mi prima y el peinado otra prima 🤣🤣🤣🤣 si, tengo demasiadas primas. El maquillaje fue sencillo y rosado porque es mi color, pintarme de otro color como que no me luce, incluso al inicio me había puesto otro tono y yo como 😐, así que usamos el confiable rosado y el peinado fue una trenza con el cabello suelto.
En las fotos poco se aprecia pero de accesorios cargaba un collar y zarcillos plateados que tenian como una roca brilante en medio, usarlos fue un reto porque no soy de usar bisutería, aunque desde esa semana he usado los zarcillos a diario, tal vez es que no había conseguido mi estilo.
Mis zapatos eran unas sandalias plateadas brillosas, las conseguí a muy buen precio y podía caminar con ellas lo que era muy importante porque no quería tropezarme en medio de la iglesia 😳 aunque admito que si me cansaron bastantes, pero saben lo que dicen para ser bella hay que ver estrellas.
y no puedo dejar de mencionar un accesorio que lo abran notado en cada una de las fotos y es mi estola, estas podian ser alquiladas o compradas, mi promocion decidio alquilarlas, yo mandé a hacer blanca porque soy única y detergente 🤣, nah es por mi mención académica 🤓, como pueden ver tenía decia Summacumlude, el nombre y logo de la universidad, la UCLA. Ahorita reflexionando me la pude quitar para algunas fotos pero no lo hice hasta que regrese a casa, incluso salimos a comer y comí con ella, por eso es parte de mi oufit.
En general a mi me encantó como me veía, el vestido súper cómodo y fresco y para los que han estado siguiendo mis post de la graduación saben que fue un gran equilibrio entre precio y calidad. En unos días les compartiré la anécdota de la misa como tal y podrán ver cómo estaban vestidas mis compañeras, que les adelanto desde ya, que todas estaban preciosas. Hello community, this is my first post here and I won't lie, I'm a little nervous. Ever since I discovered this community, I've been looking forward to the day when I could share something with you all, but I don't consider myself an expert on clothes and I don't have that much either, so I told myself "myself, when you're in your graduation week you'll have some super outfits to share".
And well, here I am. I'll share my outfit or look with you all from my graduation mass. Choosing it wasn't easy because I wanted something pretty but that wasn't too exhibitionist because when you use it in a church there are certain dress codes that you have to respect.
I knew for sure that I wanted a dress; if you read my post about finding my graduation outfit, you'll know there were a lot of options for the ceremony, but this is the one I ultimately chose. It's a simple, elegant black dress; the top part had a peasant-style blouse (i.e. sleeves down to the forearm) but I didn't feel comfortable because that meant wearing a strapless bra, and I felt like my breasts looked saggy, even though my whole family told me they didn't. So I wore the sleeves like a normal dress, which allowed me to wear a regular bra with straps and feel more at ease. Nevertheless, you can still see the ruffles on the dress.
The dress, as you can see it, is tight until the waist and falls in a flared skirt that reaches me until the middle of my leg. I like these styles because they don't make me look fat (and well, I've been struggling with my weight since January for this great event), and I feel elegant and stylish. They also highlight my figure but without being too tight.
My makeup was done by my cousin and my hairstyle by another cousin 🤣🤣🤣🤣 if, I have too many cousins. The makeup was simple and pink because it's my color, painting myself with another color just doesn't look good on me, even at the beginning I had put on another shade and I was like 😐, so we used the reliable pink and the hairstyle was a braid with loose hair.
In the photos you can barely see it but I was wearing silver earrings and a necklace with a shiny rock in the middle, using them was a challenge because I'm not used to wearing jewelry, even though since that week I've been wearing the earrings every day, maybe it's because I hadn't found my style yet.
My shoes were some shiny silver sandals, I got them at a very good price and I could walk in them which was very important because I didn't want to trip in the middle of the church 😳 even though I admit that they did tire me out quite a bit, but you know what they say, "to be beautiful you have to see stars".
I can't help but mention an accessory that you may have noticed in each of the photos and that is my stole, these could be rented or purchased, my promotion decided to rent them, I had them made white because I am unique and laundry 🤣, nah it's for my academic mention 🤓, as you can see I had Summacumlude, the name and logo of the university, UCLA. Now reflecting I could take it off for some pictures but I didn't do it until I got home, we even went out to eat and I ate with it, that's why it's part of my outfit.
In general I loved how I looked, the dress super comfortable and fresh and for those of you who have been following my posts about graduation you know it was a great balance between price and quality.
