Casi nunca entro a instagram (por obvias razones jaja) pero el fin de semana pasado estaba revisando que había de nuevo por allá y el algoritmo aprovechó para hacer su trabajo, mostrándome la publicidad de un evento de web3 fashion en la capital del país como parte de la celebración de la Caracas Desing Week.

I almost never go on instagram (for obvious reasons haha) but last weekend I was checking what was new there and the algorithm took the opportunity to do its job, showing me the publicity of a web3 fashion event in the capital of the country as part of the celebration of the Caracas Design Week.

Sabía que no podía dejar de asistir por varias razones, la primera es que no conocía a nadie en Venezuela (además de mi y el team de @metamerch) que trabaje o que le apasione la moda web3, y en segundo lugar, me pareció importante crear conexiones con las personas que al igual que yo están construyendo en este nicho tan reducido. Quería escuchar las experiencias de los asistentes y sobre todo contar mi experiencia personal, desde mi trabajo en blockchain hasta la creación de mi marca de ropa phygital.

I knew I couldn't not attend for several reasons, the first is that I didn't know anyone in Venezuela (besides me and the @metamerch team) who works or is passionate about web3 fashion, and secondly, I thought it was important to create connections with people who like me are building in this very small niche. I wanted to listen to the experiences of the attendees and above all tell my personal experience, from my work in blockchain to the creation of my clothing brand phygital.

Hablamos de muchísimas cosas interesantes, como todo lo que se ha estado creando de manera digital para darle un giro a la moda como la conocíamos, la importancia de la tecnología blockchain y todo lo que puede permitirnos lograr como diseñadores y la infinidad de casos de uso que las nuevas tecnologías nos siguen aportando día a día y como debemos saber sacarles el máximo provecho.

We talked about many interesting things, such as everything that has been created digitally to give a twist to fashion as we knew it, the importance of blockchain technology and all that it can allow us to achieve as designers and the countless use cases that new technologies continue to bring us every day and how we should know how to make the most of them.

Asistir a este evento me dejó con muchas ganas de seguir construyendo, sobre todo porque confirmé que tengo muchísimo que aportar y que estos últimos años de aprendizaje sobre web3 me han dado un conocimiento increíble que puede ayudar a las personas que están en el mundo de la moda, a conectar con web3 e impulsar sus proyectos mediante la tecnología. El networking estuvo 10/10 y estoy segura de que se vendrán colaboraciones provechosas muy pronto, también tuve la oportunidad de conocer una marca de web3 fashion genial de las que les hablaré muy pronto en un video y formar parte del lanzamiento del primer influencer digital venezolano. Definitivamente una de las mejores noches en lo que va del año, pronto les contaré todo lo que se viene a raíz de esto ❤️

Attending this event left me with a lot of desire to continue building, especially because I confirmed that I have a lot to contribute and that these last years of learning about web3 have given me an incredible knowledge that can help people who are in the fashion world, to connect with web3 and boost their projects through technology. The networking was 10/10 and I am sure that there will be profitable collaborations coming soon, I also had the opportunity to meet a great web3 fashion brand that I will tell you about soon in a video and be part of the launch of the first Venezuelan digital influencer. Definitely one of the best nights so far this year, soon I will tell you everything that comes from this ❤️
