¡Hola Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! Espero estén teniendo una noche grandiosa. Cada vez falta menos para el día más bonito del año y muchas ciudades comienzan a iluminar sus calles y plazas para el disfrute de la gente de la comunidad. Yo estoy muy feliz porque finalmente en el lugar donde vivo anunciaron el encendido de las luces y aunque no es tan grande como el que les mencioné hace unos días atrás que fue en la avenida Bella Vista de Maracaibo, estado Zulia, no lo hace menos mágico y festivo.
Pero sin extenderme mucho más acompañenme a prepararme para este lindo y navideño día:
Hello Hello my dear Hive friends! I hope you are having a great night. It's getting closer and closer to the most beautiful day of the year and many cities are starting to light up their streets and squares for the enjoyment of the people of the community. I am very happy because finally where I live they announced the lighting of the lights and although it is not as big as the one I mentioned a few days ago that was on Bella Vista Avenue in Maracaibo, Zulia state, it does not make it less magical and festive.
But without extending much more, come with me to get ready for this beautiful Christmas day:
Para ir al encendido de mi pueblito tenía pensado dos outfits, estaba indecisa sobre cual usar pero en lo que sí estaba segura es que quería que la camisa de vestir verde fuera la protagonista del look.
Mi primera opción fue esta con una franelita blanca y un jean.
To go to the ignition of my little town I had two outfits in mind, I was undecided about which one to wear but what I was sure about was that I wanted the green dress shirt to be the protagonist of the look.
My first choice was this one with a white flannel and a jean.
Para la segunda opción pensaba en una franela negra con un renito de Santa, amo esta franela y es una de mis favoritas, y como el encendido es obviamente navideño pues yo quería usar algo alegorico. En este outfit planificaba usar unos pantalones negros, mis tennis color champan y obviamente la franelita verde que si o sí quería utilizar.
Esta camisa verde fue un regalo de una compañera de trabajo y desde que la vi lo primero que vino a mi mente es que era absolutamente perfecta para navidad.
For the second option I was thinking of a black flannel with a Santa flannel, I love this flannel and it is one of my favorites, and since the lighting is obviously Christmas, I wanted to wear something allegorical. In this outfit I planned to wear black pants, my champagne colored tennis shoes and obviously the green flannel that I wanted to use.
This green shirt was a gift from a coworker and since I saw it the first thing that came to my mind is that it was absolutely perfect for Christmas.
Para los accesorios, me fui con mi relojito dorado, unos aretes de perlitas bien lindos y obviamente no podía faltar mi gorrito navideño aunque pareciera too much con el look pero yo quería usar mi gorrito. Antes pensaba en usar un cintillo con las astas del renito pero desafortunadamente se me dañó por lo que tocó ir con lo clásico: El gorrito de navidad.
For the accessories, I went with my little gold watch, some pretty pearl earrings and obviously I couldn't miss my Christmas hat even though it seemed too much with the look but I wanted to wear my hat. Before I was thinking of using a headband with the antlers of the little reindeer but unfortunately it got damaged so I had to go with the classic: The Christmas hat.
Para serles sincera, con el apuro no pude concentrarme totalmente en el maquillaje por lo que opté en hacerme algo sencillo pero en lo que si estaba clara es pintar mis labios de rojo. Mi maquillaje consistió en un poco de base, corrector para las ojeras y el parpado, rubor y de sombras coloque en todo mi parpado un poco de sombra brillante y en la linea inferior del ojo me coloque un verde navidad para darle un pop de color. Culminé con mascara para pestañas y unos labios rojos que no pueden faltar en navidad.
Por mi cabello no hice mucho tampoco, me lo humedecí para que mis rulos volvieran a la vida y recogí mi cabello en una media coleta dejando la otra parte suelta y me coloqué el gorrito de navidad. No quería que mi cabellera esuviera libre en su totalidad, sabía que habían altas probabilidades de que hubiera un poco de calor y más sobretodo por la gente que asiste a estos eventos.
To be honest, with the rush I could not fully concentrate on the makeup so I opted to do something simple but what I was clear on was to paint my lips red. My makeup consisted of a little foundation, concealer for dark circles under my eyes and eyelid, blush and shadows I put a little shimmery shadow on my eyelid and on the lower line of my eye I put a Christmas green to give it a pop of color. I finished off with mascara and red lips, a must for Christmas.
I didn't do much with my hair either, I dampened it to bring my curls back to life and pulled my hair back into a half ponytail leaving the other part loose and put on my Christmas hat. I didn't want my hair to be free in its entirety, I knew that there were high probabilities that it would be a little hot and especially because of the people who attend these events.
Y así luce mi elección final. Decidí más bien utilizar la franela de renito junto a los jeans, me parecieron mas cómodos que los pantalones negros puesto que me quedaban levemente más ajustados y lucían más de vestir. La camisa verde sentí que me quedaba un poco más larga de lo que esperaba por lo que la amarré a la altura de la cintura y amé como quedó el resultado. Terminé colocandome unas medias de navidad, mis tennis color champan y estábamos listos para ver a Santa.
And this is what my final choice looks like. I decided to wear the flannel with the jeans, I found them more comfortable than the black pants since they were slightly tighter and looked more dressy. The green shirt felt a little longer than I expected so I tied it at the waist and I loved the result. I ended up putting on a pair of Christmas stockings, my champagne colored tennis shoes and we were ready to see Santa.
