Cryptobrewmaster - Economics Of Ingredients Production

Cryptobrewmaster

When the production facilities came into play I jumped immediately and bought first the Water Tower and then both Grain FIeld and Hops Farm.

I wasn't concerned about the financial part. I simply wanted to try it out for the fun of it.

These buys represented a big shift in the way I use the game. I turned from mostly a consumer role (doing quests and drinking beer, occasionally buying and selling) to the producer.

First water, then hops and barley. When producers entered the game it was obvious that the prices for some ingredients will sink to the bottom. It was also obviously questionable whether the investment into the plants will pay out?

The following is not a strict economical report since I am too lazy to bother with exact numbers. I'll lay the major figures out for you so you can all see what the situation is. At least with my production skills :)

Expenses were 752 CBM in total.

Income was 491 CBM in total.

The investment is covered by 65 %.

I wasn't active all the time. I was absent between December 12th and 15th. FOur days without production and sales.

At that time the Malt House became available. I won't rent it since I'll be away for the next two weeks too.

I have 5 days of Water Tower rent left and 15 days of the other two plants. I guess I won't exploit them fully. Too bad.

Will I break even? No, with an absence so long it's not possible. I didn't plan it yet that's life.

Do I care? Not really :)

On Monday I received some reward cards for being the 10th placed Top Brewery. I plan to brew a great beer or two tomorrow too.

And that's it. Producing ingredients, putting them on the market, brewing an occasional beer. I am just clicking through the game right now. In the new year, I'll try to be more passionate about it. We'll see ...

Dear friends have a great holiday period. Drink some delicious beer. Cheers
