Matrimonial clash~inkwell fictional prompt #160

Maaz slapped the toaster very hard as it was the fifth time the toaster wasn’t accepting the bread into it. He was too frustrated already and such behavior from the toaster was annoying him further. And to his fortune, this time the toaster accepted the bread. The smile glanced on his face and he mimicked,” All you do not work by soft hands and demand strong drubbing, so get it now “. He waited for a few seconds to see if the toaster expelled again bread or not but it didn't. He was in a hurry so he could not wait to see bread toast well. He set the timer and rushed towards the bathroom to get a bath.

Maaz was a bank manager. He was 30 years old and was married to Aliza. Maaz was a busy person who couldn't even find spare time for his wife. It has been 2 years since their marriage but they haven't gone on their honeymoon yet. Aliza used to complain about it but he prevaricated each time. Last night they had a very fierce clash when Maaz even forgot about their marriage anniversary. Aliza tolerated all this for 2 years but it was now out of her control and she reacted very harshly last night.

Aliza was pretending to be sleeping. She used to get up early in the morning and get everything ready for her husband but today she was announcing and she didn’t even open her eyes to see what was going on. Aliza wanted Maaz to grant the rights a wife deserves. Perhaps in part, her suspicions were validated. She dreamed of the day he would give her a hug or a quick kiss before heading off to work. While Aliza’s thoughts are constantly changing, Maaz emerges from the washroom after taking a bath, looking as dashing and handsome as always.

He opened his wardrobe and picked a shirt from it but the matching tie was missing. The more he was searching, the more he was getting furious. He was throwing things away in search. Aliza was enjoying and mimicking in her mouth,” Now you will realize my importance “.

Maaz picked a random tie, hung it around his neck without fixing it, and began to wear his shoes. He was late already. He instantly picked up his car keys and glanced a sight at Aliza.

As Maaz didn't think it proper to talk to Aliza either, he departed for work without eating breakfast because she hadn't spoken to him. He left his toast inside the toaster and closed the main entrance with anger.

Aliza who was lying on her bed noticed a burning scent emanating from the kitchen sometime after hearing that door-smashing sound—that being Maaz's toast—when she turned to face the kitchen after Maaz had left. She found that the bread was burnt and well egg which he put on for boiling had blackened. First, Aliza smirked but later on, after realizing she felt bad for Maaz as Maaz was not habitual of leaving without breakfast but due to her annoyance, he had to. Though she was angry with him she decided to cook breakfast by herself and give it to Maaz in his office.
