In a kingdom,there lived a boy who was cursed by an elf. The name of this boy is Billy, he had no knowledge on how he was cursed by an elf but he does hear it from people whispering around him that it was a curse from his parents. Billy's parents were no more, that made it more difficult for his childhood process and knowledge about how he got cursed.
Billy was not cherished by anybody the same as his parents when they were still alive,they were one peaceful family and were content with what they had. Billy's father, who happened to be a hunter,was an expert at hunting. Everyone envied him due to this plotted against him and his family little did they know that he had a child or he would also have been ended just like his parents.
Before his dad died,he went to the forest where he hunts and noticed a strange animal which he had never witnessed before or even seen in any books. The elf noticed him and approached him,the elf asked for his name at first but Billy's dad never spoke but asked what was his first… the elf replied saying he was an elf,a magical creature who had been stuck in an enchanted pot of gold. The elf continued to explain that this was not him,that he is seeing his spirit and using his last powers to look for someone with a pure heart to come and save me for they had plotted evil against me, Billy's dad then replied by saying his name which was Hank,he asked how he was going to save him from this enchanted pot of gold.
The elf then replied by saying it will all start with this journey to the enchanted forest, this enchanted forest is a forest where you see enchanted and magical creatures performing wonders and many admiring tricks but they are deceitful. The elf continued by saying he is the king of the elves but they plotted against him and declared themselves a new king. Hank felt sympathetic for the elf and told him to describe a map to him,the elf started by saying before you can reach the enchanted forest you will have to swear an oath to the map saying you would save me from the enchanted pot of gold. He continued by saying when you have sworn the oath,the map would direct you and you travel with a magical carpet. This carpet would follow the map's direction to the enchanted kingdom,there you would find an old woman with green attire and shamrocks on her legs with gray hair. She lives in a small hut which is visible to the outside but when you enter it is like a kingdom with many divisions,she is the one that would lead you to a hidden gate which she would grant passage for you and let you to where I am after which she would disappear into thin air. You would now be the one to find the enchanted pot of gold and rescue me,beware! deceits and tricks are more. Hank replied by saying affirmative to all what the elf had said,the elf disappeared into thin air and the map was right beside his feet,before he could take it those who envied him shot him from the back which led to his downfall. They left him there in the forest which he survived to reach his house and gave Billy the map explaining all what he would do to rescue this king of the elf.Hank kicked the bucket and due to this shock led to his wife's death who was Billy's mother.
Billy shouted in disbelief to have dreamt of this occurrence, unknowingly the map was always with him without his consent. While panting he decided to remove his clothes after some months of wearing the same clothes,a rough paper fell from his pocket. Billy was at first afraid to pick it up,but summoned courage to check what was there and noticed it was exactly the same map he saw in his dreams which made him recollect all what the elf told his dad before he kicked the bucket. Tears rolled from his eyes as he began to summon courage and swore to the map that he was ready to go and save the elf. The map shone light which summoned the magical carpet,it wiggled itself to Billy which made Billy laugh. Billy climbed on it to practice outside since it was late in the night and no one would see him except the moon and the stars. It was so exciting for him to ride on a magical carpet.
The next morning,he was woken up by the magical carpet to summon him for the great journey ahead. He entered the carpet and saw the map flying to direct the magical carpet to the enchanted kingdom which he got to within some few hours. The enchanted kingdom was so adorable that the elf descriptions were not enough to describe how beautiful the kingdom was. The map shone again to describe where he would go next,the carpet flew according to the map's descriptions to meet the old woman. Billy sighted the old woman hut from a far distance and saw that the elf wasn't lying about how different the old woman who was also an elf was. When they got there,the old woman appeared with her gray hair,green attire and shamrocks on her legs right in front of them saying Hank but Billy explained what happened and why it took long for him to come. The old woman appealed to him and told him to get ready for the main business because he would encounter many elves and he had to be an elf for him to enter but the old woman told him not to worry because she had prepared a disguise for him.
The old woman got past the other elves but Billy was at first denied because he just wore the disguise which made it somehow visible that he was not an elf, immediately the old woman swiped his thoughts and told Billy to enter. The old woman told him where he was heading to and told him to be careful she disappeared afterwards but left one of her shamrocks for Billy to wear for protection. The carpet continued with the transportation,he was shocked to see himself greet like other elves and talk like them the same as other similarities about them. Billy got to the hidden gate,the carpet signaling to him that he was not allowed to enter through the hidden gate except the savior of the king and the ruthless king who had him cursed into the enchanted pot of gold. Billy waved farewell to the carpet and hugged it before he saw it flying away… he continued his journey to save the cursed elf. He was half way to saving the king because his eyesight were now sharper because of the old woman's magic,he could see through different types of pot of gold and noticed a strange pot of gold which never shone like the others,he got closer to it but when he wanted to touch it he heard a shrieking sound of a sword behind him which he escaped narrowly because of his new characteristics of becoming an elf. The king examined the new strength of Billy of which he was using to wrestle with the evil elf whose name was Rufus,due to the strength Billy was using to wrestle Rufus he gained his strength and broke the curse from the enchanted pot of gold,the brightest light was shone in the atmosphere of which it entered Billy,the elf told Billy his name was Auwalu I couldn't tell your dad but now am telling you and I am dwelling in you so we can both win this fight. Billy gave a lightning struck to Rufus which made him flew through walls by doing this made Rufus bow his head to Billy and called him King because he knew it was only King Auwalu who does that trick, Auwalu came out of Billy and appealed Rufus because he felt bad pretending which Auwalu knew.Rufus could try another trick but was stopped by a raging fire ball from Billy which lead to his downfall.
Billy was announced the next king after Auwalu,for he had shown great courage, commitment to the map which made the elves in the kingdom name him Saint Patrick meaning an human who behaves as an elf,his day was called Saint's Patrick day and was celebrated happily amongst one another after which they lived happily ever after.
