Dedication is to Elena what bone is to dogs. She is someone who sees laziness to be a fertilizer to failure. Elena is a makeup artist whose everyday inspiration lies on top talented makeup artists. These people have boosted Elena's dream of one day owning her own makeup beauty empire. Her zeal for this has added 100% energy to her word work to perfect her creativity .
But just as the saying goes, in every gathering, they must be a rival. Her dream of being among the top best known makeup artists was greatly challenged by her colleague in the makeup line. Rema was her rival, one of the successful makeup artists who started at the same time Elena started. She had many of high-profile personalities as clients.
What makes matters very complicated for Elena is that the Rema empire was just besides hers. Being a competitive job of creativity with each of them striving to soar higher. While Rema would secretly lure Elena's clients to her shop by painting Elena's black and blue, Elena on the other hand refused to be frustrated by all means.
Although it wasn't easy for her to fight the low turn ups, the bad name Rema has badged her with and the bad reputation retained all because of RRema. Even with all these, she kept a cold head trying all efforts to make things change for good. It wasn't easy as Rema kept being ahead of her.
One day, while Elena closed, she decided to walk down the street so as to purchase what was lacking in the shop. She saw a billboard which read "Make up stylist of the year, show the state what you can offer this season, grab your form!! limited copies available!". She quickly visited the website, made payment and signed up for the contest. She knew this was an opportunity she can't afford to miss or misuse.
It was a day for the event, Elena's heart wept in sorrow when she saw Rema. She felt so bad as she knew what Rema could do just to get at the top.
"Contests get ready, in the next 20 minutes, this great event begins. Get all your kits ready, each stylist will be assigned a model". The host said.
Just when everyone was getting their tools ready, Elena went to her allotted space only to find out that her make up kit was missing, all kits were nowhere to be found. She was shattered, disturbed and confused but she refused to let it show. She checked her time and noticed she still had 10 minutes wait time, she rushed off the street and purchased all the items she would be needing.

The show began and Elena gave it her best shot, not letting her setback interfere with her present. She received praises from the judges, different cosmetic companies that came to grace the event and establish business contracts.
After the show, she emerged the second runner up with companies offering business deals with her. Her dream has always been to own her own makeup line like those too makeup artists that inspire her. As a second runner up, she was offered a business deal to create her own line of makeup.
She was so excited that she was able to weather the storm even when Rema made it seem so impossible. Just when others were congratulating her, she saw Rema leaving the show in shame knowing that Elena is millions times greater in heights with her current achievement.
