Three signs from dream

May was seated alone in a boundless world filled with absolute darkness with a ray of dimmed light from the cloud illuminating only on her sitting spot, when a man dressed in white gown with a dark skin light that of the surrounding darkness walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder.
She didn't feel startled; instead, she asked with boldness, "Who's that?"

"Can I have a seat with you? I have a message for you." The man in white spoke as he walked to her front.

"Hmmmm, a message? A message from who?" She sipped her drink and began to shake her crossed legs in a bossy manner.

"Can I have a seat first, please?"

"Okay," May adjusted, and she used her hands to dust off the space on the wooden bench opened for the man to sit in.

"Thank you" The man sat down and stayed silent for 30 seconds while staring at May, who was continuously sipping her drink from the glass, looking unbothered.

"This is it. I have three signs for you to identify your life partner when he comes..."

"Hehehe, life partner?" May interrupted.

"Hold on, let me land before you start." The man's voice increased a bit, which shunned May.

"Okay, I'm listening." May brought down her crossed legs down and faced him, looking at him eyeball to eyeball.

The man cleared his throat and continued, "He will be the first person you'll see on Monday morning.

He'll be the first person to send you an SMS that same day.

And last, he'll be the last person you'll see before going to bed"

"Hehehehe!" May couldn't hold her laughter, and as she was laughing, the man disappeared into the thin air before her eyes, and fear gripped her "Jesus!"

She found herself jacked up on the bed.
"Oh! It was a dream," she sighed, hissed, did the cross sign and reached her phone, only to meet 6:59 a.m. as the time.

She was already late for work; she ran off to the bathroom on her her pyjamas, rushedly took her bath, and within 10 minutes she was all dressed and prepared for work.

She came out of the house and was locking the door when she heard a masculine voice from behind her "Goodmorning, ma"

She turned to meet a very unfamiliar face: a light-skinned guy, slim, with grey hair, standing while holding a carton in his hands.
She paused with her eyes running a complete scan on the guy, "Goodmorning, sir. How may I help you?" She responded as she turned to her door again to complete the lock.

"Are you miss May? I'm from the Tinstech company to deliver the box you ordered some weeks ago. Sorry it's coming late, ma; we had a few shortcomings. Also, I could have called before coming, but I felt it's morning, and I would meet you before you set off from work."

"Mtchww! So the company finally remembered to deliver what I ordered two months ago. Well, you can take it back because I'm no longer interested. Thank God it's a pay on delivery so we don't have a loss." May hurriedly walked away while the delivery guy was begging, "Ma, it's not like that; I can explain. Ma! Ma!"

The delivery guy felt weak; his hope of making a sale to get a commission from his company just got blown off.
"Gosh!" He hit the cartoon with his hand out of frustration.

May was busy at work, typically romancing the keyboard on the desktop computer with her fingers while her face was glued to the screen. Then, her phone beeped, and she picked up the phone to receive a message from an unsaved number. She curiously opened the message, and behold, it was the delivery guy, begging and convincing her to buy the product.

"Mtchwwwwww!"She hissed aloud, deleted the message, and as she dropped the phone, the light in the office went off and everywhere turned to complete darkness.

She could hear the commanding voice of the manager of the company running helter skelter to fix the blackout "Call the electrician instantly; go and check if that was an engine oil issue!"

Still on her seat, the picture of the dream she had came to the scene, and the darkness took her back to what she saw in the dream.
She shook off her head and said, "No, this can't be it."
She picked up her phone, turned on the torch light, and it brightened the whole room.
She got up and began to walk around in the office, wondering if the delivery guy was actually the life partner the messenger in the dream talked about. "A delivery guy? No way! Hahahaha"
She picked up her phone and went through her inbox log, only to see that the deleted message from the delivery guy was the only message she had received since morning. "Hehehehheheh!" The coincidence was becoming amusing to her.

She was still moving to and fro in the office when the light was restored. She dropped her phone, and went back to her usual complete focus on the computer.

She closed around 5:00 p.m., very tired. She laid on the bed for a quick nap to relieve herself from the work stress.
In her sleeping state, she could hear fairly loud knocks on her door, but she was so tired that she couldn't admit getting up. Then her phone rang, and she picked up without checking on who was calling, "Hello."

"Good evening, ma, please come to the door; I'm here to deliver your order," the masculine voice requested.

"Delivery? I can't remember placing an order anywhere," she questioned and removed the phone from her ear to see the time on the phone, and it was 6:40 p.m.
She thinks that, since it's not night already, there's no cause for alarm. "Okay, hold on, I'm coming."

She pulled herself up from the bed and walked to the door with her roughened face, only to meet the same delivery guy again that came in the morning, the same man that sent a text to her.

"You again!" She pointed at him and was about to shout at him when the reflection of her last night's dream appeared and filled up her mind. She placed her head on her forehead as a way to relieve her brain of the clashing thoughts walking to and fro.

"Okay, drop it and give me an account number for me to pay."

The delivery man smiled upon hearing that; his persistence paid off, and he's finally going to get the commission for the sale. He dropped it, called the account number to her, which she paid, and they both dismissed it.

May carried the carton inside, sat on the sofa, and began to wonder deep into last night's dream, "Could it actually be him?" She stayed on the sofa for about 1 hour, turning in different positions while wondering about the coincidence that's before her.

"Okay, I'm going to give it a test. If this guy calls to ask me out, I'll believe it's real, and I'll give in. Yes!" She said to herself.
She got up, sighed, and said again to herself as if she's talking to another person in the lone house, "Yes, I'm the lady, and I can't be the one to make the move, if the dream is genuine, then let him come asking"

She picked her phone and while walking to her room, her phone rang. She checked to see an unsaved number calling. She let it ring completely without picking and she continued to her room.
The phone rang again, she picked up this around,

"Hello, May, do you recognize the voice?" A masculine voice asked as she picked the call.

Umm, it sounds a little bit familiar; are you the delivery guy that left some hours ago?"

"Yeah, you got it right; I'm the one, Kingsley, the delivery guy that troubled you until you took in my product."

A flowering smile arrested May's face; she has never felt like that for a very long period of time. "So, you have another product to pressure me to buy?" She said it with a laugh.

"Hehehe, not at all, but it's you this time around. I can't just let this angel slide off; I have a deep conviction that I've found my full missing rib."

"Hehehehe, stop it." May was carried away totally by the deep ticking voice of Kingsley.

They fixed a date, and that was when their love life began.
