All the way to tomorrow.

The opportunity to be a space astronaut was a dream from the day he went to middle school. He dressed up like an astronaut every chance he had while growing up. The Dutch astronaut Andre Kuipers was his big idol and the drive to earn good grades. The study years were long and hard, but with the help from his family and fellow students all went as planned. The struggle from his parents to put him trough college was also a drive, he didn’t want to disappoint.

Now, years later he is ready and all set to take the next step and to make the history of tomorrow, he is putting on the space suit to walk in the galaxy above us. For him the embodiment of this dream. The fact he is the future and the talk at many coffee corners tomorrow is out of this space. Its both amazing and beyond his expectations. The unknown world above us, called Hive is fantastic. The knowledge for tomorrow is aswell. He will travel all the way to tomorrow. He will tell us what we need to know to study that tomorrow and maybe pave the way for more little boys and girls, and make space a place to be in tomorrow. Science is not a study its a way of life,
and so is Hive, the place you want to be before tomorrow.

This Week’s Prompt by the @theinkwell
The prompt for this week is : All the way to tomorrow.

You may recognize these words from one of the most famous books of all time, The Hobbit. The complete quote is "It seemed like all the way to tomorrow and over it to the days beyond."

For this prompt, consider writing a story that takes place in an alternate reality or in an imagined world - possibly with beings that we simply don't encounter in real life on earth. Or take the prompt in any direction you choose. It's completely up to you.

Here are some ideas to get the creative wheels turning:

There is a gnome war. The red jackets and blue jackets are fighting for domination of a suburban garden. How will it end?
A community of dwarves witness a child being carried off by goblins, and make a plan to rescue it and return it before the parents discover it is missing.
A group of children comes upon a doorway in a hillside, which leads to an adventure they can later discuss only among themselves.
And if you don't feel inspired by the prompt or these story ideas, feel free to peruse Prompt 6: 50 Story Ideas.
Where will you take your story?

Good luck! And be sure to remember the important elements of good fiction:

A good setting
Character development
Conflict
Dialog
A story arc and resolution
