I wish I never forgot to celebrate birthdays

Hello community:

I love birthday celebrations whether it's my own, my family's or my circle of friends. One more year of life is more than enough reason to celebrate.

We begin to age as soon as we are born: first we are children free of responsibilities and worries, always wanting to have fun; then we gain awareness as we become adults and start to own our actions; finally our body ages even though our mind feels young and our fears of life increase due to the experience of what we have lived through before.

Life gets more serious as we get older, but we must not lose the spirit of fun and celebration for being part of this planet. I believe it is an important part of our emotional health and regenerates the strength to carry on.

Another year and we are back to the same place we were that time ago. I celebrate these occasions and join in celebrating with those who do too. I am happy to accompany people in whatever way they choose, be it with a party, a walk, a cake, a drink or a glass of water.

There are times when we feel sad because of problems of various kinds, however, on birthdays in my family we make exceptions and celebrate birthdays. It is a different day, with moments of joy and a lot of affection from the people you love and who love you.

Children's birthdays are special, because the celebration is multiplied in joy with other children friends. We enjoy their laughter, their singing and even their funny dances with their little bodies.

Sometimes we celebrate at home, where to the rhythm of hand clapping we sing "Happy Birthday" and blow out the candles that are held by a cake. The children love this ritual.

When we celebrate a birthday, our own and others', we are celebrating life. May we never forget to celebrate the birthdays that bring us so much wellbeing.
