This is my participation to the weekend challenge (WE85 post topics) by @Galenkp and the question I am going for is this;
"Tell us about a time you learned a very valuable lesson. What was it, the circumstances around it, how did the learning process go and what was the result?"
Right from childhood, I have always watched my parent to do good for others, they would go out of their ways to put smiles on people´s face and seeing how they feel happy about it made me develop such act too. Life brings many experiences on our ways and each of them comes with hard lesson to embrace. We either embrace it or we ignore it, it´s our choice but in every challenges and stories we have had and seen, there are lessons from it.
One of the valuable lessons I have hold onto this day is the one of doing good which says;
Do good for others, it will come back in unexpected ways.

Till I grew up, I have been doing good for others because I know there is a reward in it especially from God. No one knows the future and being good to others would definitely find its way bringing benefits to you later on which most times, you forget that you once helped before.
Wherever I go, wherever I meet myself, I try my best to leave good impact with my trait. Some days ago, the good I have always been doing came back to me in an unexpected way that I couldn´t stop crying,,,, "I deserve it" this is the statement they kept saying while seeing me crying (don´t worry, it was tears of Joy and it came with shock to me)
It was on my birthday, on the 14th of January, this year. I never planned anything big but early in the morning, I was still in bed around 6am when I heard the sound of trumpet and talking drum, singing happy birthday song for me. I came outside to see everyone clapping with a surprise on my end, I looked everywhere and I saw everyone in the house came out to surprise me. Some gave me money, while others brought gift to me.
As I was dancing and crying, I started thinking and appreciating life, I knew at that point that it was my good to them that made them to surprise me. It came in an unexpected way, but it was the biggest moment of my life.
We might not know that people are watching us when we are doing good, but when the reward start coming in, you will marvel at how things turned out to be.
Doing good isn´t only about money alone, but your time, love, attention and little sacrifices you make is what makes it being good to others. I don´t think there is a day I do not act good towards people because I believe life is all about being good which is one of the commandments from God to love your neighbor. If you do not love, how do you give to people?
Love and goodness goes together and without love being present, it is impossible to do good. Having another person in your heart is what makes life peaceful which I know the good you do can never pass you by someday.
