A wonderful day to you all dear Hivers! Another great discovery that is happening on the weekend which is worth sharing.
After being exhausted from our climb to the peak of the fifth-tallest mountain in Cebu, we rewarded ourselves with a cold drink. Knowing that Catmon is located along the coastal area, we opted to look for a spot that offers great relaxation to the customers while sipping our fave fruit shake.
Since we didn't know this village, the local tourist guide took us to one of the most famous beach resorts open to the public, the Vima Beach Resort. It has no entrance fee, you can have an unlimited seascape after ordering their refreshing drinks.
Upon our arrival, while waiting for our orders, I never wasted my time. I excitedly roamed around to see and discover what else this place could offer us. It has a wide space at the back enough to cater bigger number of customers.
The sea this time is calm and the area is tranquil. As I got closer to the shoreline, I was amazed at the crystal-clear seawater. The sand is quite different from the sea that we visited. It is a fine brownish type of sand.
I love the appearance of the rocks and pebbles here. They come in various kinds. Their colors are purely natural, complement the shoreline landscape and are stunning to look at.
This is my best stress reliever once I've been from travel, to take a quick walk along the seaside. It is more relaxing and soothing to my senses. This stroll on the sand released my exhausting feelings from our climb and brought back my energy.
Spending time on the beach is exhilarating, especially when spent with the family. I spotted this family, with its child happily savour the endless expanse of the sea and having fun playing in the sand. So happy being together.
A pose of being relaxed. After our quick stay and being cooled down, we went to our next destination. Happiness overload was felt here.
The quick stroll at the old church
One of the best tourist spots worth a visit is their old church, the San Guillermo Parish Church. It is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines built during the Spanish era.
The architectural structure of the church is still strong and firm. It remains resilient and can withstand strong typhoons and earthquakes.
The quadrangle is wide and is attractive to children due to its playground. It has stalls where people can buy some food and drinks.
The green space is so cool, refreshing and comfortable to stroll with. Since the church is located on the upper land, it has an overlooking view and it is an eco-friendly surrounding. Its green landscape gives a brighter impact to the place and the presence of the birds is great evidence that it is safe as their sanctuary.
This quick stroll at Catmon's precious gems is well-appreciated. To sum up, I love exploring this place and was glad for this weekend experience.
