It's been a couple of days since the end of 2023 and somehow I feel that this should be the first post of 2024. I say this because the space which I will show you next, will soon cease to belong to our environment. We have been living in Lima for about 6 years and the Plaza De Armas in Los Olivos, which is located next to the Municipality, has been a place where we have gone on several occasions to sit and rest or to have a refreshing drink. This is a place with a lot of life, young people and people of all ages come here to hang out and talk. It has always had a good vibe.
And well, this holiday season has been no exception, the municipality did an excellent job decorating with Christmas theme and as you can see in the pictures they did not skimp much to say, in fact, as I remember it was never so well decorated. So, we agreed to meet with @audiarmisg, a hiver friend from Peru with whom we have shared little, but when given the opportunity she has proven to be a noble heart and good companion, so before closing the year we wanted to share one more time with her.
As you can see, practically the entire square was adorned with lights and decorative elements such as candy lollipops and giant Christmas cookies, in addition, the traditional tree was also present and could not be missed. It had a conical shape and was at least 10 meters high. Of course, many people took advantage of the occasion to take pictures and we were not going to be the exception.
So I start the year remembering the last experiences of the previous one, it is strange to say that last Saturday was a different year than this one, but that was my weekend experience and I wanted to share it with you. I wish you an excellent 2024. Greetings!
