Hello everyone, I hope you're doing fine. Today, I will share my wonderful yet busy weekend experience at home. On this bright morning, I had a lot of household tasks lined up for me. Since my mother works as a babysitter, some of her tasks at home were handed over to me. As the eldest among my siblings, I didn't have any choice.
My mother ordered me to cut the grass because snakes might hide there. I used grass cutters to finish the job faster, but my hands got numb quickly since I wasn't used to this.
It was painful to keep going. My mother is very good at this she didn't often assign us to clean outside the house because she feels we might not clean it seriously otherwise.
We usually handle tasks inside the house, like washing dishes, doing laundry, mopping, sweeping sorting clothes, cooking, and wiping windows. My mother watched over me while cutting the grass to ensure I did it properly.
While I was working, I suddenly laughed at what I saw. Two dogs were sleeping in the area I was cutting. They were so cute that I hesitated to continue. I didn't know why they chose to sleep there. It felt like they didn't want me to cut the grass. It was the first time I saw dogs sleeping there, and it made me think that if I never cleaned it, they would never sleep there. Such adorable dogs!
After a few minutes, I took a break to relax my hands and reduce the numbness so I could continue. Once I finished cutting all the grass, I took another break to regain my energy.
Our yard was covered in dirt due to the heavy rain, with some trash and small rocks carried by the flood. I swept them into a pile and kept sweeping until the yard looked clean.
Around noon, I decided to cook lunch. However, I noticed that we didn't have any wood left, so I cut some pieces of wood to use. I cooked rice and our dish for the day, which was fried fish.
After about half an hour, I had enough energy to start a new task: doing the laundry.
My mother was busy with other work, so I did all the laundry myself. As they say, laundry is like a never-ending story.
After that, I fed our goat. To be honest, this is the first time we have successfully taken care of a goat for a long time. We have had many goats before, but they all died. So we're thankful that we have the opportunity to take care of a goat now. It's my brother's favorite animal, and he longed to have a goat. So we decided to take care of one to fulfill his wish.
