Owning a dog or a cat - which one would you choose and why?
Today there are many households that decide to have a pet that become part of the family as part of the health, to have an entertainment or the best that is to their liking and love animals.
There are many sad stories about the lack of care for pets, including many who suffer in times of natural tragedies due to the abandonment of these, but there is also a lot of joy when you see these animals leaving places they never imagined they would be there to protect themselves from critical situations.
The kittens are very faithful but also very free, they like to go out of the houses, walk and return to the house that welcomes them, there are others that do not even move from their homes where they are cared for, as if they know that it is safe there. I have never had a kitten in my home, although I say good morning to my neighbors' kittens and talk to them.
Between a kitten and a puppy my taste to have at home goes towards the puppy, for different reasons, they adapt to be in the places where we are used to them, they are faithful, sometimes they even tend to make sounds as if they were telling us something. A puppy is the one who warns you if there is a stranger knocking at the door or if it is known, its sound and attitude is different.
At home, we have a little dog, Renata Canela, my son rescued her from a dumpster, fortunately he saw the moment she was left and took her...since that day she is part of the family. She is very faithful. Like this dog, others have passed through this house, each one with their own story of why they are here and how they have behaved at home. I have no complaints about any of them because all the time they lived with us they left us lessons of love towards their caretakers, and when there are children they are so protective that I don't understand why in some places they are treated so badly.
Ever since we accepted to have pets I have always chosen a dog, giving the necessary care. I always emphasize their protective qualities.
Whether it is a puppy or a kitten they deserve respect and care, for that is also to have in mind the love towards them and those who love one or the other, in homes also both are accepted and become very good friends.
