Future Nostalgia

A strange thought, is it having a sentimental yearning for an experience not yet reached, perhaps bringing a past back enabling us to create our future, mold us differently?

Vivid memories of childhood running free when time had little meaning, friendships forged in a golden era some would love to return to, realizing time moves on rapidly.

Nostalgia looking back knowing our future will never look the same, future nostalgia a little different I'd say. Lingering on the past may evoke strong emotions to make a move to somewhere different altering your future in wistful yearning for change.

Motivating oneself into future nostalgia is in my mind a realization this world has gone horribly wrong, appears unfixable taking our focus to brighter times, when we should be trying to rectify the problems currently faced.

We intuitively are aware we have over populated this earth, seeking to settle in the stars, this would not be my ideal future either. Knowing we were born here through ancestry over centuries, which we only remember for one or two generations.

Did we originally did evolve from great apes, this too would not quite suite the person who I am or would consider, no hanging around in trees eating fruit upside down.

One cannot but wish for yesteryear, most 50+ would tell you so, less people, no tap dancing around society terminology, my ideal future nostalgia is a balanced life living in and with nature, a lot fewer people highly recommended.
