Hello how are you friends of @weekendexperience a Christmas hug

I was a little away from the blog, but today I am back to tell you about my experience this weekend with the family Christmas dinner, a custom that we assume every year on the two most important dates, December 24 and December 31.

Preparing the pernil

This year's celebration is very meaningful because one of my older brothers died last month and we still feel that thin void for our brother so supporting our mother at this time is very important emotionally.

We are 12 siblings and the two oldest have passed away of course, we felt nostalgic as the hours went by especially because he used to play dominoes with my husband and my other siblings, my husband back home said: "I missed your brother a lot this day" and we all really felt the same way.

All Sharing our anecdotes

To try to lighten the mood a bit and forget the sad memories we moved on to gift exchange using a dynamic where we had a great time and had a lot of fun.

We then moved on to Christmas dinner, beginning with a prayer before eating by the great Mother of our family, aged 86, who has given us an example that we have preserved over time, thanks to her we have all managed to overcome all our crises and have felt the value of believing in God as the main source of sustenance.

Finally, we enjoyed a beautiful and rich Venezuelan Christmas dish with hallacas, chicken salad, banquet bread and the delicious pernil (pork leg). It was a great dinner

I thank God for giving us the opportunity to have a united family where we can laugh, cry, talk, and share as a family. God is the main protagonist of our lives.
