diabetes cruelty

This is the story of a close friend that died today because of diabetes, i did not want to mention her name because i do write about our friendship, we literall grew up together in the small town of barcelona in spain, she was a vibrant and kind hearted person, the most important thing about her is that she always light up the room whenever she is around and she is never moody or sad at any time. She had a contagious smile that could light up any room, she was that friend that you could literally tell everything and she was always around the corner when you need help.

she had been living with diabetes since her early years, it was at the very early stage of her life, only those close to her knew what she was facing each day. but the diabetes never defined what her life would be, She took control of her health, managing her diet and diligently monitoring her blood sugar levels.despite all these she was always happy and had time for every activities.

she was my very close friend, i had known her since childhood. we have literally shared countless memories and dreams together, always encouraging each other to reach for the stars.

recently which was this week on monday, her health began to deteriorate and she called me and she said it might be the last time we talk and i was shocked and i had to run down to her house and unfortunately she had been moved to the hospital and immediately i went down there and i saw her smiling as i entered her room and despite her efforts to manage her diabetes, her body struggled to maintain balance. Fatigue consumed her, and even her cherished adventures became increasingly challenging.

Concerned about my friend, she kept saying, i should not worry and immediately my world turned upside down as she confronted the realization that her life would be cut tragically short. Emotions ran high and i do not know what to do, and grief weighed heavily on my heart.

During this dark period, i stood by her side, providing strength and comfort when it was needed most and while we kept gisting all together, i was still sad and i could not laugh and cry and all i want for her was to be alive. Despite the hardship, her indomitable spirit shone through. She refused to let her diagnosis define her final chapter. Instead, she chose to embrace every sunrise, cherishing the beauty of life even as the twilight approached.

As her health declined, i did my best by helping out and also providing what i can, her parents were also there as wellas her other friends and neighbors volunteered their time to assist her and unfortunately she passed away peacefully in the company of her loved ones. The loss was felt deeply by everyone who had been touched by her infectious smile and compassionate heart.

Her story became an inspiration for others battling diabetes. she never for once told people what was happening to her and some people were shocked as she passed away today because of diabetes and it was unexpected.

Though her physical presence may have faded, her spirit remained a beacon of light, guiding others to embrace life's beauty and reminding them to cherish every precious moment. Her impact was everlasting, ensuring that her legacy would endure in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her.
