It seems incredible but we had been waiting for this for many days, a day of total sun, of maximum splendor in a clean and bright sky, of an intense and perfect blue. We missed that light, that atmosphere and that positive energy that we feel on our skin, as soon as we move our face, close the eyes and look up.
Something so simple, and so satisfying, something that can change our day, our attitude, and even our health.
Many days have passed in which everything was different, it rained and rained, and when it didn't rain everything was still gray, everything around us darkened, also us, even our life. How can it be? So many days and days? It is not very normal, and less so in this area. What despair, what boredom!
But "there is no evil, may it last a hundred years" goes the saying, and in the end everything passes, even the wind finally blew away all the clouds, and our favorite natural scenery returned. We are us again... another great weekend. We have to go out!
And although the wind is still blowing, it brings us a very cold air from the north, but it doesn't matter... have you seen what a clear day? We must take advantage and enjoy days like this, even if we do not have any specific plan. Just go outside, and walk in a relaxing way.
Walking, walking, a bit aimlessly... we rediscover things, the most magnificent natural beauty. To vary the route, we leave the beach for one day, the sea will still be there the next day, but we don't go too far either. A few minutes later we get lost and we entered other paths...
On those roads we see the land divided into different crops and orchards, now the onion plantations stand out, meters and square meters of that vegetable that not everyone appreciates, but grows, the land continues to provide us with what we want and need. There those onions tell us that the city is over, that another world of fields and low houses begins a short distance away.
There are no buildings, no traffic lights, no signs... we get lost on paths that lead nowhere, perhaps to another field or another house. Some cars pass through other roads in the distance, while we turn 360 degrees looking and looking for another route, where do we go?
I don't know where we are going, but we found many flowers, a lot of daisies and many others of different colors, of different shapes and varieties. Now I do feel in spring mode, now everything begins to bloom strongly, you feel that energy and today the sun gives us its light again. Everything is perfect.
I take photos on one side and on the other, I love those colors, I discover new names of flowers, I love them. Here we found lovely fuchsia "Carpobrotus edulis" or hottentot-fig, many vital golden yellow "Medicago arborea" or alfalfa arborea and some cute "Oxalis pes-cabrae" or sourgrass...
How do you feel? I feel like I'm coming out of the gray lethargy of dark and humid days, and I'm reborn like plants and vegetables come out of the ground, we have water and food, we just lacked light, that light that has brought us all back to life. We see all around and feel the vibrations of those wonderful colors!
I look at the beautiful blue sky, smile and thank for this long-awaited, revitalizing and inspiring walk. Nature regenerates itself, and we with it. This is real life.
