A cloudy day, that's how it is this Saturday, when I woke up I only saw clouds. And it would not be anything relevant, there are days of everything, some sunny and others cloudy. But in reality, it is different because the sun always shines here, or almost always, so days like this are not that frequent and we feel strange.
We do not see that bright blue sky that we will see again tomorrow for sure, perhaps with more intensity or so it will seem to us, because we immediately miss it. But "there is no evil that lasts a hundred years" (it is a popular saying) and bad weather does not last long here either. It would be hard to get used to... Will it rain? Almost, one drop only maybe but I don't think.
So we look and we only see a dense grayish white layer, and we start this weekend with another more subtle light, with more darkness and less desire to go out. Normally days with a lot of rain are the best to stay on the sofa with the blanket and watch a series or movie, but in truth, it doesn't rain, it's not that cold either, it's more of a feeling of a sad gray day that doesn't tell us much.
Some short walk, go buy something and see the panorama. What a contrast of the sky, with the blue of the sea and with a ray of sun that rebelliously tried to sneak through that cottony cover!
And some sports enthusiasts know with some certainty that the gray around them will not be serious, it will not last and it will not rain, and they continue with their plans, why stop doing what they had in mind?
We can continue walking, if we are not invaded by melancholy, but did we carry that feeling with us before? Perhaps it only emerges when there is more calm, it seems that even more silence. Maybe with the sun people talk louder and with more enthusiasm. Today tranquility surrounds us as the clouds surround us when we look at the horizon.
It is something rare, a day like this and also a Saturday, when we want to go out more, enjoy more... we may also have to stop at some point, today may be that day, let's take advantage of those clouds. Happy Saturday!
