Hello friend, good evening to y'all and I hope your weekend is going as planned ?, All thanks to God. I am new to this community, I came across the challenge for this week and I was moved to join.
I will be going for the option Four of the "IF YOU COULD CHALLENGE" which is If you could commit a crime at all and get away with it, what would the crime be and why do you choose it ?.
Ok, lets talk me first: Naturally I am someone who hates seeing people suffering especially when they are putting in effort, you see they are trying but they are not reaping the corresponding dividends of their efforts. "NIGERIA IS A CENTER FOR SUCH THING"
So if I could commit a crime, as hard as it may some it would be " Mass Assassination Of The Nigerian Law Makers To End Suffering". Please do not see it as hard, I know they are many that may say they are succeeding here in Nigeria, but truth be told out of 100% of any one who says that, 88% of them are reaping from where they actually did not deserve. Here wether you know the field or not as far as you have someone up there you can get anything you want. The system is so corrupt that it is getting into the bloodstream of the youths. The so called men on top do not want to see anyone grow to challenge their own opinion.
Why do I choose it?
I know one shouldn't depend on their government for anything, meaning you have to work hard and work smartly. But what of if the government are placing laws that just favours themselves and their families, not caring about the "common man"?, as it is called over here. Just like the crypto ban in Nigeria, you see security personnel extorting money from anyone they find doing anything related to crypto, if you don't compile you will be arrested. Banks can freeze you account when that perceive you are doing anything crypto related, this and many more. It is just as if the same people that was placed to move the country forward, is now after the life of their own citizens for no just course.
The law Makers here are just after their own selfish gains not minding if things are in place that supports growth and development in the country. The Nigerian system of governance is babarick, it's wickedness and it is satanic. They is no way of stoping them or changing them because over here your votes during election days doesn't count. So if I could commit any crime it will be to quietly assasinate this wickedness clothed in human form. Truth be told it might not be the total solution, but it will purely send a strong message to anyone that will be elected after all those satanic leaders are gone.
How would it be done?
This part will be really difficult, and will take years of careful planning and strategizing. But if I can be given a superpower for just a day, I think the first 3hours of that privilege would be used for this mission without anyone noticing my presence. And the other hours will be to set up good atmosphere and economy that can encourage and promote growth.
Bad governance causes stagnation and stagnation breeds poverty and poverty breeds frustration which brings about 80% of crime in the society, wether or not they are brains in the nation. Mehn it is really painful😓😓 but we keep on striving and trying to effect positive change as much as we can praying and hoping one day a better government will be born. The hustle for most people here is survive and not to gain freedom. What bad governance can do.
