Weekend cheat meal (ESP-ENG)

El fin de semana comenzó con un delicioso cheat meal que nos merecíamos, después de una semana de mucho trabajo y algunas vicisitudes. Hacía tiempo que no nos comíamos una hamburguesa y ya yo estaba antojada de comerme una, así de suculenta. No acostumbramos a comer tanto de este tipo de comida rápida, pero a veces el cuerpo pide un poco de esos sabores que contentan el paladar. Así pues, mi esposo y yo nos dispusimos a hacer un pedido para que nos las trajeran a casa, pues tenemos un carro sin gasolina porque, en este país, es una odisea llenar el tanque. Mejor sigo contándoles cosas buenas. Cuando le conté a mi hija que está fuera del país, de nuestro pedido de hamburguesas para la cena, no dudó en salir con su amorcito a comerse unas hamburguesas colombianas ;) Así que en la distacia, compartimos una cena familiar.

The weekend started with a delicious cheat meal that we deserved, after a week of hard work and some vicissitudes. It had been a while since we had eaten a hamburger and I was already craving one, so succulent. We are not used to eating so much of this type of fast food, but sometimes the body asks for a little of those flavors that please the palate. So, my husband and I set out to place an order to have them delivered to our house since we have a car without gas because, in this country, it is an odyssey to fill up the tank. I better keep telling you good things. When I told my daughter, who is out of the country, about our order of hamburgers for dinner, she didn't hesitate to go out with her sweetheart to eat some Colombian hamburgers ;) So in the distance, we shared a family dinner.

Pedí para mí, la clásica hamburguesa de carne (era un trozo grande y de rico sabor) y queso que esta vez era fundido, una delicia. También, tenía cebollas caramelizadas y pepinillo, las salsas deliciosas y con un toque de queso crema. Como complemento unas crujientes papas fritas. Realmente, bien hecha y con una combinación de sabores que me encantó.

I ordered for myself, the classic beef burger (it was a big piece with a rich flavor) and cheese that this time was melted, a delight. It also had caramelized onions and pickles, the sauces were delicious and with a touch of cream cheese. As a complement, some crunchy fries. Really, well done and with a combination of flavors that I loved.

Mi esposo pidió una de carne de cerdo que traía tocineta, cebollas caramelizadas y unas rodajas de piña caramelizadas, también. Compartimos un bocado de nuestras hamburguesas y tengo que decirles que la combinación de sabores de esta no tiene explicación, demasiado rica. La carne estaba jugosa y bien sazonada, y las papas fritas muy buenas.

My husband ordered a pork burger with bacon, caramelized onions, and caramelized pineapple slices, too. We shared a bite of our burgers and I have to tell you that the flavor combination of this one is beyond explanation, too rich. The meat was juicy and well seasoned, and the fries were very good.

Esta foto me la envió mi hija desde el lugar que escogieron para darse el gusto de comerse unas hamburguesas y acompañarnos, desde allá, en nuestra cena en casa. Se ven muy sabrosas y grandes. Me contaron que estaban deliciosas.

This photo was sent to me by my daughter from the place they chose to treat themselves to some hamburgers and join us, from there, for our dinner at home. They look very tasty and big. They told me they were delicious.
