[Week 149] legitimate or not

Historically speaking of capital punishment, emphasis must be placed on the law of retaliation, which is where this law emanates from or the principle where it was formed by going through some ancient laws, for example, the Code of Hammurabi, the Mosaic laws established in the old text. some of its passages leave them in evidence such as Exodus 21:23-25, Leviticus 24:18-20, Deuteronomy 19:21 this is a subject that has a lot of cloth to cut, I think that depending on the culture of many countries they will give you points from totally opposite and contradictory views, since in some countries it applies and in others it does not according to the political and cultural evolution of many countries, in my personal opinion I consider that this capital punishment should be legitimate but subject to exceptions such as self-defense, in the event that a person sees that his life is in serious and imminent danger and had the urgent need to repel the action, this would be an exception to capital punishment according to my criteria, I believe that many people commit crimes of intentional homicides for the reason that in their legal systems there are no exemplary punishments so that other Citizens become aware of the consequences of their acts, on the one hand that but on the other human rights, I believe that this legal institution has misrepresented itself with As the years go by and it has not reached the point where it should arrive, this institution punishes the persons vested with authority who belong to the state and forgets to punish the criminals who daily take the lives of innocents, or who forced under extortion to pay large sums of money to be able to work that their children go to school, is this not a clear violation of the human rights of all people? There are countless every day and the number of people who are daily victims of this scourge continues to increase, which in the view of some human rights defenders are common crimes, perhaps because they have not lived through the shadow of being threatened by some criminal cell that there are many, I believe that the concept of human rights is out of context in the sense of what it really should be, for example, human rights should be for all people and especially good people, workers who make daily contributions to society according to the activities they carry out, that they can travel, live and do their daily activities in peace because Human Rights protect their rights to life and the activities of the human being, but in reality this is not the case, the reality is that In my country, Venezuela, and I doubt that this will vary in other countries, human rights focus on those deprived of liberty. ex officio criminals who extort ordinary citizens despite being deprived of their liberty, all the doctrinaires and those who had a conception of human rights will excuse me, but I definitely think they were wrong because they left a large group out of the reach of this universal right, I believe that it is not only the state that violates human rights, the criminal does it when he takes the life of another person who did not have the right to defend himself, the criminal does it when the common citizen has to pay him so that can work or take their children to school because if they don't the criminal promised them irreparable damage, then I think I don't agree with this conception of human rights since it only defends criminals and forgets in a certain aspect ordinary citizens who are daily victims of this vast criminal group
