Spending Time With My Beloved Children

Hello everyone, especially my friends in the #TheWeekend community. I hope you all are well. It doesn't feel like we have arrived again on Saturday, the day where today is the weekend in November 2021.

Since last night until now at 10.30am our area of ​​Lhokseumawe City has been raining continuously. Although the rain that fell was not so heavy but because it had been from last night, the temperature and air in this morning was very cold.

Because my wife is currently sick after giving birth to our fifth child, I have to take on the role of taking her place as a "surrogate mother" at home to take care of the children. Because today is Saturday or weekend and none of my children go to school, then after the morning prayer, I have to prepare everything at home. Starting from sweeping, waking the children from sleep and bathing them. Then proceed with preparing food for breakfast. Well, for this morning there happened to be nothing in the refrigerator and cupboard anything to eat. I was forced to get out of the house and start the motorbike even though it was raining to go to the nearest warung or shop to look for cakes or anything that my wife and children could eat.

After looking into several nearby stalls and stalls, apparently none of the wet cakes still available in those stalls matched the tastes and desires of all of us as a family. So my choice was fixed on the instant noodles available at the end of the shelf from the last stall I visited. In my heart I said, "it looks very delicious and delicious in this cold atmosphere if we all eat instant noodles in hot conditions. As for my wife, I bought black rice porridge mixed with green beans for breakfast today.

After breakfast we were all a family, because the weather was still raining outside, I suggested to the children, especially my eldest son, to just play with his younger siblings at home. Spending time drawing something he likes, or can also review the lessons he has learned at school. Considering that next week the semester exams will also begin for elementary school level children in their schools. He also said yes, while his other siblings were also learning and playing.

Yaa .. That's all my friends last weekend on Saturday. From morning to evening I spend time with the children at home. Tired of this body indeed, but the fun and happiness of children is more important than everything...
