Land Rover at Salon Prive feat Twisted Electric Defender

Salon Prive always a features a number of classic vehicles, and there may have been a small crowd at this years event but that didn't detract from the concours vehicles on show.

One of the highlights was a Range Rover which was far from standard named the Chieftain, there was also a Series 2a. Series 1 and a Defender.

EV's are fast becoming a staple at these events, and that being said let us present the Twisted Land Rover Defender.

This conversion kit is available for the 90, 110 and the 130, prices start from £69k, there are a choice of 2 electric powertrains, 214bhh \ 380nm and 320bhp / 460 nm.

The system uses a single electric motor with 60kWh battery and uses the existing transfer case and diffs, Twisted say you'll get at least a 200m range.

It will take around 3hrs to charge to 100% using a 22kWh charge, and interestingly both powertrains retain the original towing capacity of 3.5T.
