I started my new job today and as I expected, it’s a lot of back-breaking work. I guess because it’s my first day but I spent over 6 hours this morning and achieved very little of what I had initially planned.

Basically, the job requires me to be the human who responds to customer complaints. I get paid based on how many complaints I answer and could also lose the job based on how many responses I get wrong. It’s challenging and requires a lot of precision so I took a lot of time today.
I also finally made the decision to take the recent job I was offered. I had to think correctly so I don’t feel like I’m just being greedy but the truth is, I really need the extra money. If I speak to the client soon there’s a huge chance that I can get paid my first installment within a week.
Hopefully, the job won’t take me more than 2 or 3 weeks to complete so chances are I’ll be occupied for a very long while. I can already sense my fatigue coming. My plan is to work 5 hours on my new job during the day and 3 hours on the contract job at night. Hopefully, I can be consistent until I complete it.
I’m a combination of excited and exhausted but I guess I’m happy. I have a lot of productive activities to perform and a lot of money in the near future. I just need to stay healthy, eat right and keep my head down until this phase is completed. The beginning is always the hardest.
As always, wish me loads of luck.
