Erstmals hat ein Leak bestätigt, dass ein soziales Medium wie Twitter eine Art "Shadow Banning"-Infrastruktur implementiert hat, die intern "Visibility Filtering" genannt wird.
Viele Content Creators haben das schon früher vermutet. Es geht um eine Technologie, die es ermöglicht, heimlich unliebsame Accounts oder gewisse Themen zu muten, ohne die User darüber zu informieren.
Der Content wird dann einfach weniger oder gar nicht angzeigt.
Das wäre so ähnlich als würde der Mobilfunkprovider oder die Post gewisse Telefonate oder Breife einfach nicht zustellen und heimlich verschwinden lassen.
Das ist genau das, was Shadow Banning macht und ist meiner Meinung nach ein Verbrechen, da damit die Kommunikation manipuliert wird, ohne dass es die User merken und sich dagegen wehren können.
Ich befürchte, dass auch andere soziale Netzwerke, YouTube und Google ähnliche Praktiken implementiert haben.

For the first time, a leak has confirmed that a social medium like Twitter has implemented a type of "shadow banning" infrastructure, internally called "visibility filtering."
Many content creators have suspected this before. It's about technology that makes it possible to secretly mute unwanted accounts or certain topics without informing the users.
The content is then simply displayed less or not at all.
This would be similar to the mobile phone provider or the post office not delivering certain phone calls or letters and secretly making them disappear.
This is exactly what shadow banning does and is a crime in my opinion, as it manipulates communication without users noticing and being able to defend against it.
I'm afraid that other social networks, YouTube and Google have also implemented similar practices.
