Welcome to my 80th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! This was indeed quite a good week of growth, with all three of my weekly goals being surpassed, along with receiving some nice HP delegations for topping this month's #HPUD with my giant powerup! I can't believe that this is my 80th consecutive iteration of these Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Updates! Holy moly has time gone quickly!
It's funny, during the week I write about my Hive goals and strategies quite a lot, and often with a great deal of detail, and yet when I come to write this weekly update, I only skim and touch on important points. Some of the things that I've been taking about in my daily posts this week are strategies for reaching orca level, cross-blockchain synergy and asset leveraging, and my new set of Hive goals for 2024. It also doesn't help that I tend to write this late at night, when my mind is a bit more tired, so I don't often go into any one thing in great depth.
I'm now active and growing on three sovereignty-driven blockchains, Hive (where I'm most active my far), Qortal, and Bastyon, which I've also discussed quite a bit in my daily posts. It was the assets that I originally made on Bastyon that I used to do my mega powerup this past #HPUD, so my multiple-blockchain focus is definitely worth while, and for multiple reasons, not only financial!

This week I gained +36.631 HP, +0.046 Reputation, and +2.338 HBD in Savings, which means that I exceeded my HP goal by +6.056 HP, my Reputation goal by +0.002 Reputation, and my goal for HBD in Savings by +1.127 HBD, which is pretty sweet all around! I love those weeks when I'm able to surpass all three goals!
My HiveBuzz Reputation ranking jumped +25 places this week, my HP raking rose +11 places, and my ranking for HBD in Savings went up +5 places, which is both fantastic and curious. Curious because my HP rises quickest of all, with HBD in Savings coming in second, and Reputation growing the slowest, and yet my ranking for reputation usually goes up the fastest, with HP second, and HBD in Savings last. In any case, it's just great to see solid growth in all three!
As I've been mentioning in the past couple updates, I've been getting my tipping tokens in order finally, and given that some of them are ones that I also delegate to various layer-2 curation accounts, I've come up with a way to continue to grow both my staked and undelegated tokens, as well as my staked and delegated ones. Basically I'll choose a goal for each one, say to reach 1,000 staked and undelegated ALIVE (which I'll reach tomorrow), so I can finally begin using it to tip, and then once that goal is reached, I'll choose a new staked-delegated goal to reach, before going back to another staked-undelegated goal. This is how I'll grow my ALIVE, PGM, and PIMP moving forward, along with a few others.
As I mentioned above, I received a few good HP delegations because of my massive #HPUD powerup. I'm still waiting on one large one of 600 HP, but so far I've already received two that total 350 HP! These will definitely help with my growth, that is for sure!
With my new short-term goal being to reach orca level, I've been hashing strategies for how to attain that lofty goal. The most logical and apparent to me is growing my HBD in Savings to a level where I would be able to withdraw half of my monthly interest to convert to HIVE to power up, and half to leave in Savings to continue compounding and growing. The amount that I chose to reach is 120,000 HBD in Savings, which would give 2,000 HBD in interest each month. Obviously this is a huge amount, and it's going to require that I change my strategy for acquiring HBD, to dramatically accelerate the process. Once I get my HBD in Savings to this level or beyond, reaching orca level, and whale level after it, will be fairly rapid. So yeah, I need to make a lot of HBD!
At my present rate of growth, I should reach 6,000 HP before the end of the year, which is another exciting milestone! 10,000 HP, which is my goal for 2024, will very likely not be far off either!
