Hello everybody!
Today I'm going to show you a nice app called COIN. You can earn some extra crypto if you use it regularly. I will try to collect all the features and bonuses, but if I miss something let me know!
Basic principles
You have a map in the app. The whole world is divided into 15x15m tiles. These tiles are sponsored by advertisers (don't worry, there is only a small ad area at the bottom of the screen). As you navigate into a new tile, you have the option to "mine" that tile for a small amount of internal coins. After a short cooldown period, you can mine that tile again. If you don't want to wait, you can refill the tile with minigames.
Earnings are varying based on previous activity and location. If you or others are active in an area more sponsors will pay for those tiles, so the earnings will increase or you will see more Geodrops.
Geodrops
Every user can drop some coin and other users can fetch those so called Geodrops. You can set who can find your geodrops:
- Someone who goes in that tile
- Anybody on any tile
- A user with a given email address (restricted to tile or not)
Redeeming
If you collect enough coins, you can exchange them for BTC, ETH or their own XYO token. You can also buy tech gadgets with them, like Amazon Echo, Apple Airpods or Google Nest.
Boosts
You can buy SentinelX BLE or NFC tags with your coins, or with fiat. Then you can pair these tags with your app and if they are in range, you will receive a bigger amount every time you mine.
Bonuses
The app offers multiple bonuses, all related to your activity.
Weekly bonus drops
You have a multiplier in the game based on the number of tiles you mine. You get a bonus with this multiplier every week on the same day you registered.
Background rewards
To mine tiles, the app has to be opened (it has got a screensaver for energy efficiency). If you use the app for enough time the background reward option charges up. This means if you use the app for 90 minutes then you will receive background rewards for 3 hours.
HODL reward
You can claim daily hodling rewards based on your current balance. Just open the app and claim every day.
GeoClaim
You can declare that an area is yours, like in monopoly! You just have to spend a small amount of your coins. These areas are bigger (30x30km), and they have multiple tiles in them. Once you claim an area you will receive 10% of every mined tiles. More than one person can claim the same area, so the rewards are divided by the percent they paid for the claim.
Premium
Of course you can buy premium benefits. I have not tried yet as I dont travel too much, but its not out of question. With the premium plans you can have faster tile and background reacharge rates, multipliers on the mined coins, weekly multipler goes up faster, and a shild on the geoclaim feature.
Referral program
Every user who registers with a referral link (or sets a referral email afterwards) will receive 1000 COIN as a welcome bonus. The link owner gets these coins too.
