The Megapack factory being built in China is now 45% complete. This means it will be done by the end of the year. Whether the equipment is in at that point or not remains to be seen but at least the facitility will be done.
In this video I discuss how the size differential between this and Lathrop could mean a lot more Megapacks in China. There is another factor that should bode well for Tesla in that country.
