If you are rich enough to save some money and interested in investing in bitcoin, you can either go out and buy a fraction of a bitcoin or use that money to buy your bitcoin mining hardware and set up your very own bitcoin mining rig. Another option is to use that money to join a mining pool.
That is if you are rich enough to save some money to invest.
What if you don't have any savings or even if you have some money to invest but don't want to invest your hard-earned money in something as volatile and risky as bitcoin.
Is there any way to get a bit of a bitcoin for free?
of course, there are basically two methods where you can get small amounts of bitcoins(satoshi). One way is through bitcoin faucets and the other way is to join free mining pools.
With the first method - bitcoin faucets - you will be rewarded satoshis for viewing ads on their websites. The problem with is method is that a lot of websites that operate faucets are scams. They won't pay you what they promise. There are some reliable faucets that pay. I will discuss them in another post.
With the second method - free mining pools - you download & install a software or browser extension on your computer and let it mine bitcoin. Mining is usually done in the background while you use your computer to do whatever you normally do with it, so you are mining and getting your bitcoin(satoshis) for free, without any additional costs.
