I must say that I did not have many expectations about this game, when I saw its style and mechanics the first thing I thought was that I would end up getting bored after 2 hours or that it would become repetitive and I would end up abandoning it, but to my surprise it was the opposite, after playing the first 40 minutes it ended up getting me quite hooked, which led me to play it for several days trying to progress as best as possible.

***Swag and Sorcery*** is a kind of Rogue Lite that mixes strategy and resource management with some RPG touches. We will start the game in a town of which we are supposed to be the king, we are in search of a strange magical armor that will solve all our problems, to find it we will have to recruit different types of warriors and send them on different expeditions through dangerous areas.

During the expeditions we will run into different enemies and resources that we can extract, the curious thing is that **these explorations will be completed automatically, we will not be able to control the character or his movements**, our warrior in question will advance in a straight line and do all the work while we observe, although in case we notice that it is very low on life, we can order a quick withdrawal that will end the expedition instantly.

These explorations easily last about 45 seconds - 1 minute, each time we successfully complete one we will obtain a series of resources that will be useful to improve the town or our characters, so as you can imagine, the main objective of the game It will consist of completing expeditions to acquire as many resources as possible.

Some of the improvements that we can apply using these resources would be: The construction of buildings such as forges to create new weapons, improve the level of our character or increase specific statistics of these, raise the level of the buildings themselves and thus increase the quality of the objects created and a couple of other things that you will unlock along the way.

Although at first we will start with only one character, as we progress we will be given the opportunity to improve our barracks and hire more people, as well as we will be able to increase the number of our exploration group. **Important to say that all characters can use all equipment, there are no classes or types**, some weapons will simply require certain specific statistics to be used, so it will depend on us which statistics to raise based on the weapons that we use.

On the other hand, every time we complete one of these explorations we will increase a small "bar", when this bar reaches 100% the fight against the boss of the area will be unlocked. But every time we are unsuccessful in an exploration, either because we are defeated or because we order a retreat, this bar will go down a small percentage. Once we defeat the boss of the area, the next one will be unlocked, although this will occasionally be anchored to the story and to unlock new areas sometimes we will be required to complete specific missions.

And speaking of missions, we will have 3 types; **The main**, which will usually be things like building x building in the town or defeating the boss of the area. **The secondary ones**, which for the most part will deal with delivering certain types of resources that we will obtain by exploring, and finally there will be **random events**. The latter, as their name indicates, will appear casually, they are usually small decisions about issues within the kingdom, such as deciding whether to execute a thief or if we try to rehabilitate him, depending on what decision we make, we will obtain a good or bad result, normally if we decide well they will give us a little gold or some other useful material.

To say that the game is not difficult, but it requires a lot of patience, especially at the beginning when you unlock the new areas, normally the boss of said area will defeat you in 2 or 3 hits, so **you will be forced to complete more explorations and try to improve**. The progression can feel slow, but as you play, build good buildings, forge powerful weapons and increase the level of your heroes, little by little it becomes easier for you, it can be pleasant to see that hero who started out naked and without armor, now he carries high-quality equipment.

Also mention that when you are fairly advanced in the game you will have the possibility of completing several explorations at the same time, increasing the amount of resources you obtain, although of course, you must have the necessary number of warriors to be able to do it and each one must have their respective armament if you want me to complete it, so to get to this point it may take you some time.

In conclusion, I'd say **if you like Rogue Lite and don't mind suffering a bit during the first few hours of gameplay, you might like Swag and Sorcery**. Although personally I am not a fan of this genre and even so it managed to hook me, I really like progressing in the town little by little, building new buildings and discovering what rare weapons I can forge for my warriors, it is a very fun title, although I feel that due to the game style it has, it would be better used on mobile devices, since you basically play based on clicks.

Debo decir que no tenía muchas expectativas acerca de este juego, al momento de ver su estilo y mecánica lo primero que pensé fue que terminaría aburriéndome luego de 2 horas o que se me haría repetitivo y terminaría abandonándolo, pero para mi sorpresa fue todo lo contario, después de jugar los primeros 40 minutos terminó enganchándome bastante, lo que condujo a que lo jugara por varios días intentando progresar lo mejor posible.

***Swag and Sorcery*** es una especie de Rogue Lite que mezcla la estrategia y gestión de recursos con algunos toques de RPG. Comenzaremos el juego dentro de un poblado del cual se supone somos el rey, estamos en búsqueda de una extraña armadura mágica que resolverá todos nuestros problemas, para encontrarla tendremos que ir reclutando diferentes tipos de guerreros y enviarlos en distintas expediciones a través de zonas peligrosas.

Durante las expediciones nos toparemos con distintos enemigos y recursos que podremos extraer, lo curioso es que **estas exploraciones se completarán de forma automática, nosotros no podremos manejar al personaje ni sus movimientos**, nuestro guerrero en cuestión avanzará en línea recta y hará todo el trabajo mientras nosotros observamos, aunque en caso de que notemos que está muy bajo de vida, podremos ordenar una retirada rápida que acabará la expedición de forma instantánea.

Estas exploraciones tienen una duración fácilmente de unos 45 segundos - 1 minuto, cada vez que logremos completar una exitosamente obtendremos una serie de recursos que nos serán útiles para mejorar el pueblo o a nuestros personajes, por lo que como podrán imaginar, el objetivo principal del juego consistirá en ir completando expediciones para adquirir la mayor cantidad de recursos posibles.

Algunas de las mejoras que podremos aplicar haciendo uso de estos recursos serían: La construcción de edificios como forjas para crear armamento nuevo, mejorar el nivel de nuestro personaje o aumentar estadísticas específicas de estos, subir el nivel de los propios edificios y así aumentar la calidad de los objetos creados y un par de cosas más que iras desbloqueando a lo largo del camino.

Aunque en un principio empezaremos solo con un personaje, conforme avancemos se nos dará la oportunidad de mejorar nuestro cuartel y contratar más personas, así como también podremos aumentar el número de nuestro grupo de exploración. **Importante decir que todos los personajes pueden usar todos los equipos, no existen las clases o tipos**, simplemente algunas armas requerirán ciertas estadísticas en concreto para poder usarse, por lo que dependerá de nosotros que estadísticas subir en función a las armas que queramos portar.

Por otro lado, cada vez que completemos una de estas exploraciones aumentaremos una pequeña “barrita”, cuando esta barrita llegue al 100% se nos desbloqueara el combate contra el jefe de la zona. Pero cada vez que no tengamos éxito en una exploración, ya sea porque nos derroten o porque ordenemos una retirada, esta barra bajará un pequeño porcentaje. Una vez derrotemos al jefe de la zona, se nos desbloqueará la siguiente, aunque esto de vez en cuando estará anclado a la historia y para desbloquear nuevas zonas algunas veces nos exigirán que completemos misiones específicas.

Y hablando de misiones, tendremos de 3 tipos; **Las principales**, que usualmente serán cosas como construir x edifico en el pueblo o derrotar al jefe de la zona. **Las secundarias**, que la mayor parte tratarán sobre entregar ciertos tipos de recursos que obtendremos explorando, y finalmente estarán **los eventos aleatorios**. Estas últimas como su nombre lo indica aparecerán de forma casual, suelen ser pequeñas toma de decisiones sobre temas dentro del reino, como por ejemplo decidir si ejecutamos a un ladrón o si intentamos rehabilitarlo, dependiendo de qué decisión tomemos obtendremos un resultado bueno o malo, normalmente si decidimos bien nos darán un poco de oro o alguno que otro material útil.

Decir que el juego no es difícil, pero requiere mucha paciencia, sobre todo al principio cuando desbloqueas las nuevas zonas, normalmente el jefe de dicha zona te derrotara de 2 o 3 golpes, por lo que **te verás obligado a completar más exploraciones e intentar mejorar**. La progresión puede sentirse lenta, pero conforme vas jugando, construyes buenos edificios, forjas armas poderosas y aumentas el nivel de tus héroes, poco a poco se te va haciendo más sencillo, puede ser placentero ver a ese héroe que empezó desnudo y sin armadura, ahora porta un equipo de alta calidad.

También mencionar que cuando vas medianamente avanzado en el juego tendrás la posibilidad de completar varias exploraciones al mismo tiempo, aumentando la cantidad de recursos que obtienes, aunque claro, debes poseer la cantidad necesaria de guerreros para poder hacerlo y cada uno debe contar con su respectivo armamento si quieres que logre completarla, por lo que para llegar a este punto puedo tomarte algo de tiempo.

En conclusión, diría que, **si te agradan los Rogue Lite y no te molesta sufrir un poco durante las primeras horas de juego, Swag and Sorcery puede gustarte**. Aunque personalmente no soy fanático de dicho género y aun así logró engancharme, me gusta mucho el ir progresando en el poblado poco a poco, construir los nuevos edificios y descubrir que armas raras puedo forjar para mis guerreros, es un título muy divertido, aunque siento que por el estilo de juego que tiene se aprovecharía mejor en dispositivos móviles, ya que básicamente juegas a base de clicks.
