In Dubai, Crypto.com Gets Complete Operational Approval

With over 80 million users worldwide, Crypto.com is a well-known brand that is trusted for its dedication to security and regulatory compliance. Recently, the company won a significant battle in Dubai. The Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) gave the company's Dubai branch, CRO DAX Middle East FZE, the all-clear to begin operations, including the opening of an exclusive Crypto.com Exchange for institutional investors. This milestone, which comes after the company complied with the standards laid forth in November 2023 for a Virtual Asset Service Provider License, is the first for any worldwide crypto operator operating in the United Arab Emirates with fiat operations.

The new exchange, which is intended for institutional clients and qualified retail investors, offers a wide range of services, such as staking and over-the-counter offerings, in addition to deep liquidity and advanced trading choices. With plans for the Crypto.com App and further retail-focused products in the works, Crypto.com's operational certification opens the door for further growth in the United Arab Emirates. Crypto.com's Eric Anziani and Stuart Isted commend Dubai for its proactive attitude on cryptocurrencies and express excitement about potential future partnerships with VARA to support industry development.
