It's Green season!πŸ€—

About this time in Nigeria, farmers are happy seeing the seeds sown in the soil sprouting out with so much life in them. The expection and hope for food and money is alive and this is a happy moment being a farmer. Living life with hope cures sadness and builds courage to face the future. In times like these, farmers are hopeful for a better outcome in the future.

However, lots of work is done to keep crop yeilds alive and blossoming. Its not yet time to go to sleep.😁

Soon it will be harvest season, farmers over here are doing everything possible to have a maximum harvest from their farmlands in due season.

It's a thing of small scale farming in the community I visited in Uyo over the weekend and farmers barely complain about difficulty in survival because their farm produce are sustainable and enough for their welbeing.
Living simple with low monthly income is no threat to the happiness of farmers over here; they are happier in the colony of families and friendsπŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦

I took a walk into a farm portion and discovered how great crops were doing. It a lovely scene for me and I was amazed by the varieties of crops I saw. You couldn't have taken a walk with me but you can see what I discovered and imagine the feeling of relating with some of the endowments of nature in this land.

Aloe Vera
Its not in my profession to till the soil perfectly πŸ˜„ and I'm happy seeing it done by experts. Talking to the local farmers about planting helps you discover so many exciting and educating ideas about planting you never believed works.

Aloe vera plant is housed by many households over here... It is very useful for production of cosmetic solutions and has highly medicinal contents. If you have this in your garden then you could be looking at cashing out from your produce as big producers of finished products would love to know your location and patronize you on large scale or small scale.

Groundnut
I was so excited seeing the groundnut plant once again😁. My bad, Ive not been visiting crop farms lately and I really missed seeing this lovely plant until I got a chance to do so😁 Thankfully the soil favours the groundnut plant to produce lots of groundnuts here because local inhabitants here love the taste of groundnut so much.😁 It's nature once again giving food to eaters!πŸ˜„ This is one nut that is eaten in all parts of Nigeria and commands a flood of demand in its season.

Potatoes
My love for potatoes grew to the roofs at my childhood. I cant wait to be invited over during the harvest season to get a handful of this lovely plant. Most of the potatoes in supply in southern Nigeria comes from the northern part of the country and I was glad seeing this part of the south producing this amazing plant . I thought it is worth the investment, since it is one of the highly demanded foodcrops for households. And lately, firms are into the production of chips from this tasty plant.

Banana🍌
My love for this plant is exceptional πŸ’œ. The ripe sugary taste is some special. Banana is a vital food plant for households in this community as it is one of the most common plants you can find around. Investing in Banana cultivation will guarantee a massive return as most parts of Nigeria are short of demand. Local Banana vendors have enough money from daily sales to take care of their needs because this fruit is loved by almost all households.

It's green every day
Agriculture remains the source of our survival and it is not behind technological advancement. With lower investment in agriculture in Nigeria, food shortages and inflation are evident. Investing in food and cash crops of choice in Nigeria would guarantee a high and sustainable returns as the aggregate demand for food in the country and the world is increasing by miles.
