Samsung Electronics Co. said it would shut down its last computer plant in China, South Korea's tech giant giant giant giant া giant said on Saturday to shift production from the world's second-largest economy to production.
The South China Morning Post reported on Friday that about 1,700 employees would be affected by the Samsung Electronics Suzhou computer agreement, excluding those involved in research and development.
China is an important market for Samsung and we will continue to provide better products and services to Chinese customers the company said in a statement.
