Hello friends, today I went for an early morning walk in the Yurubi National Park, also known as Leonor Bernabó. It is located in San Felipe, Yaracuy state, Venezuela, and was created to protect the Yurubi river basin. What I like most about the park are its cloud forests and low mountains. The park has small trails that are mostly used by researchers or for hiking. Getting to the park is very easy, as it is almost in the center of the city of San Felipe, approximately 10 minutes by car. Admission is completely free any day of the week.

Hola amigos, hoy salí a caminar muy temprano por el Parque Nacional Yurubi, también conocido como Leonor Bernabó. Está ubicado en San Felipe, estado Yaracuy, Venezuela, y fue creado para proteger la cuenca del río Yurubí. Lo que más me gusta del parque son sus bosques nublados y las montañas bajas. El parque cuenta con pequeños senderos que son mayormente frecuentados por investigadores o para practicar senderismo. Para llegar al parque es muy fácil, ya que está casi en el centro de la ciudad de San Felipe, aproximadamente a 10 minutos en carro. La entrada es completamente gratuita cualquier día de la semana.

This park is important because it is the main source of fresh water for the city of San Felipe. It is also home to a diversity of fauna and flora, which according to the park rangers, have not yet been sufficiently investigated, so the species of birds, mammals, primates and marsupials that can be found are unknown. There are also large trees such as ceibas, cedars, and apamates.

It is a very nice place to spend the day, either in its beautiful river or hiking through its beautiful trails, which are made up of stations of the elements earth, air, water and fire. The linear route to the hill is approximately 12 km long. Along the way you can enjoy nature and the pleasant climate that varies between 12 and 26 degrees depending on the altitude and time.
