The big thing everyone’s talking about of course is ChatGPT o1 preview which is a pretty big deal, especially if you’re a dev, but for the average user it’s really just chain-of-thought prompting already cooked in.
The biggest advancements im personally seeing are the improvement in the ability to repurpose content at the click of a button. This was already available, but the outputs were average at best.
Two free tools that really showcase this are napkin.ai and Google notebookLM. Everyone’s raving about the instant podcast feature (notebookLM), but it also formats any input into:
- FAQs
- Press Releases
- Study guides
- Outlines
