Have you already noticed the new integration in Inleo?
Now authors can put content behind a payment barrier and charge 5 HBD per month for it.
A small part of this will remain with Inleo, which will probably be used to buy back Leo.
I will definitely not follow anyone and pay the 5 HBD. I didn't do that in Web 2.0 and I won't do it here either.
Is it really worth it? Or will the many votes stay away? Sure, it would be worth it for those who have hardly any vote power anyway, but will they pay the 5 HBD (in the long term)? And for those who have a lot of power, will they vote if they already have to pay 5 HBD?

Ob das sich wirklich lohnt? Oder werden dann die vielen Votes fern bleiben? Klar, das es sich bei denen Lohnen würde, die eh kaum Votepower haben, aber ob gerade diese die 5 HBD bezahlen werden (auf Dauer)? Und bei denen die Ordentlich Power haben, ob diese dann Voten, wenn sie schon 5 HBD bezahlen müssen?
Ich bin am überlegen ob ich nicht denen das gleich machen soll, die Selbstvoter nicht voten und diejenigen nicht voten, die auscashen (siehe Diskussion vor paar Wochen). Nur das ich nun Personen nicht voten sollte, die eine Paywall einrichten.
Ich würde es wohl noch gut finden, wenn mit der Gebühr Hive statt Leo gekauft wird. Schließlich wird hierfür die Hive-Infrastruktur genutzt. Und jedem sollte klar sein, dass es der Community etwas kostet auch wenn wir einzeln keine Transaktionsgebühren bezahlen.
