The high natural gas prices in Europe are making Europeans return to the oldest way of heating: firewood. The use of fireplaces is going to increase this winter. 70% of Europeans use natural gas for heating (in a normal year), and this year, it is becoming almost unaffordable.

The problem is that the high demand for firewood is raising its price too. The price of wood pellets has doubled to 600 euros per ton
