What Is GHAWG?
#GHAWG is short for "God's Hog: A Watchful Guardian." This fictional story tells how David Guardia, a courier and business owner from Bayonne, New Jersey, US moved into the next phase of his life after spending the final ten years of his ailing father's life helping him.

As Rhonda & I left the Ritz-Carlton, she saw familiar faces.
"Gina! Richard!" Rhonda went to embrace & kiss the couple.
"Fancy meeting you here of all places!" said Gina.
"That's right. Rhonda mentioned you on our honeymoon."

🏍️ Gina and Richard are dear friends of Rhonda's from earlier in her life. Although we don't know much about them, Rhonda Bella Guardia had talked about them in greater detail with David Guardia during their honeymoon stay in San Diego, California, US.
🏍️ Gina and Richard make a cameo appearance in `Rat Bike`, and they will reappear once or twice in `Blue Lion` in other brief moments. For now it was enough for me to introduce them into The GHAWG Universe at this time in this way.

"We approve," said Richard as he smiled at Rhonda. "You're a handome man, David. You both did well for each other."

🏍️ From this zapfic entry, we can see that Richard & Gina were very close with Rhonda during the years they knew each other earlier. Otherwise, why would Richard make a comment such as that one to her?
🏍️ When David and Rhonda Bella Guardia were in Amarillo, Texas, US and having pillow talk, she confessed to her husband that on first sight she thought he was just some schmoe or unremarkable-looking guy. This adds to Richard's comment on what a handsome man David is.

🏍️ As noted, this was a cameo appearance by Richard & Gina. The fact that The Newlyweds are rejoining The Twins and The Kids reinforces the brief nature of this serendipitous reunion of very dear friends.

🏍️ There's nothing remarkable about this zapfic entry. It was written to close the scene. It would be foolish of me to suggest a reunion only to not have a way for The Newlyweds to get in contact with Rhonda's friends (Richard & Gina).

"It's as if they came back from the dead. We parted because Richard inherited 10 acres in Cali."

🏍️ This is the first time we learn more about Richard & Gina. Rhichard inherited 10 acres of property in California, and Gina wasn't going to leave him alone as he assumed his new role as property owner. So when Richard decided to go west to California Gina went with him.
🏍️ At the time I conceived these characters, I hadn't decided if Richard & Gina were married or not. Now that I write about them in this Weekly Summary post, I'm leaning toward making Richard & Gina a married couple. Although they will reappear very briefly in `Blue Lion`, the nature of their relationship will only be hinted at then. More details about Richard & Gina will be revealed when I write about Rhonda Bella Guardia's life as Rhonda Bella.
🏍️ How important are Richard & Gina to Rhonda? She puts them on the same level as David Guardia. Or does she put David on the same level of importance as Richard & Gina? It can go either way, but the bottom line is that all 3 people are equally important in her life.

🏍️ Not only is Rhonda Bella Guardia living the most fulfilling time of her life "right now" (2028-October-12) with David Guardia starting with his Epic Ride, but she has new friends in the Brothers Marchenko, The Kids, Lindsay Etxeberria, and even Harry Hoqualogue of The Mongols from San Diego. Together with her reunion with dear friends Richard & Gina, Rhonda's life is firing on all cylinders.

🏍️ It's been said that behind every great man is a great woman. For David Guardia, that woman is his wife, the former Rhonda Bella.
🏍️ Now that Richard & Gina are back in her life, Rhonda wants to make Richard & Gina part of her life with David. Given that she and David will live in Iowa while Rhichard & Gina remain in California, it's not as if they will be borrowing power tools or cooking ingredients from each other regularly. Even so, she will want David to understand why Richard & Gina were such an important part of her life.
