I previously wrote about Donald Trump's World Liberty Financial (WLFI) which will be on public sale starting tomorrow, October 15. WLFI will offer borrowing and lending services for digital assets on the Ethereum Blockchain , aiming to replace traditional financial services by using blockchain technology.

I'm curious about this sale but the company website does not offer much information. So I researched or googled about the project and who are the team members behind it. Most of the team are composed of the Trump family. Donald Trump is the "Chief Crypto Advocate" while his sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., are both "Web3 Ambassadors". Youngest son Barron Trump is listed as "DeFi Visionary."

Donald Trump revealed at an X live space event that his son Barron has four wallets. "Barron knows so much about this, Barron's a young guy, but he knows. He talks about his wallet, he's got four wallets or something..."

Other members of the team were formerly involved on another another DeFi platform, Dough Finance which seemed to offer similar services as WLFI. On the other hand, Dough Finance was hacked for $2.1m last July. Making up the rest of the team are Trump's friends Steve Witkoff, his son Zach Witkoff and legal counsel Alex Golubitsky.

Previously a critic of crypto and Bitcoin, Trump is now supporting it and is involved in a number of projects including NFTs. “Crypto is one of those things we have to do. Whether we like it or not, I have to do it.” declared Trump during the livestream.
