2 months ago my payoneer account was banned for no apparent reason. I was pretty smart though cause I already had an alternative service called wise which I verified for receiving payments and also successfully verified all my documents which the wise team told me to provide so had a withdrawal to my bank account successfully from wise.
Below are the step by step instructions to access your USA bank account details from wise for stripe connectivity:
- Login to your wise.com account via desktop or via wise app from either the google play store or the apple playstore.
- Access by clicking on USA under receiving accounts and apply for your USA receiving account. Wise will ask for 20 dollars so send them this amount via either debit master card or debit visa card of course you can also opt for a credit card as well as it has 100 percent successful transaction rates usually but mostly people have no access to it.
- Connect your personal bank account details in your native country to your wise account.
- In maximum 1 day which is 24 hours after you have sent those 20 dollars wise will provide you your USA bank details and then when you request for withdrawal to your personal bank account wise will ask for following documents:
- Last 3 months bank account transactions
- Tax id for non USA citizen which you can access from your adsense or amazon account. If you cannot find it however you must fill in the non USA tax form and create a pdf file which is verified by the IRS also this document will have your electronic signature as well.
- Last 3 months stripe account transactions.
- Your salary invoice from your existing job but if you are an online entrepreneur or freelancer you must provide relevant document with proof of payment provided from your employer. In my case I provided my AdSense cheque which was provided to me by google as I am a monetized YouTube content creator.
- You must perform a successful withdrawal of your 20 dollars from your Wise account to your personal bank account.
- In your stripe account where you provided your EIN number you must also now provide your verified USA bank account details you got from Wise. Now you are enabled to receive your stripe payments to wise successfully even though you are not in the list of countries where stripe is available. The issue most people face in this process is that they do not have an EIN number. There are two ways to get an EIN number:
- Register a virtual company in United Kingdom and you will be provided with an EIN number because you are required to be a Tax filer for your company. You also have the option of registering a virtual company in the United States Of America as well. I cannot provide the costs for this operation however the estimated expense is usually 100 dollars but you must do your own research also you must use a reliable service which offers such services as this is your responsibility.
- Now you have access to your USA bank account details from Wise and you can avail payments from the following services but please note that this is a personal bank account and not a business account.
- Amazon Kdp
- Stripe
- Amazon Influencer Program
