HIVE = $0.33? This is not a problem but a great opportunity!
The last 12 months have not been positive months for the world of blockchains.
The collapse in the value of LUNA kicked off the Bear Market that has now lasted almost a year.
After the LUNA case came the collapse of FTT (the token of the FTX centralised exchange) which was followed by problems for other smaller centralised exchanges.
The latest and most recent event that negatively affected the value of almost all blockchain projects was the SEC's accusation against Binance.
The BNB token lost 13.6% in a 7-day time frame.
The SEC's attack on Binance has negatively impacted the tokens value of almost all blockchain projects, and this can be seen immediately by looking at the bubble chart (7-day time frame) on https://cryptobubbles.net/ for cryptocurrencies that are in the top 100 by capitalisation.
But already today almost all tokens have recovered some of the value lost on 5 June 2023
What happened to Binance did not have the same effects as what happened to LUNA and FTX because the SEC accusations will have to be proven and Binance has already stated that it opposes these accusations and therefore there will most probably be a long legal war.
Fortunately, the market already seems to be on the road to recovery.
The value of the HIVE token which is the token of my favourite blockchain project has also been negatively impacted by the SEC's indictment of Binance and in fact on 5 June the value of the HIVE token went from a value of $0.354135 to a value of $0.316828 at 4pm on 6 June and then regained some of its value and today 8 June 2023 HIVE has a value of $0.338137.
I am not a trader, I am not a financial advisor but I am just a simple person who loves decentralisation and who loves the 'philosophy' behind the term blockchain.
Based on my humble point of view what happened to LUNA some time ago, what happened to FTT and also the recent accusation to Binance are all events related to projects with a low level of decentralisation like LUNA or they are all events related to projects that are completely centralised (FTX and Binance) even though they allow tokens of decentralised projects to be exchanged.
After what happened to FTX I completely stopped using centralised exchanges.
Why entrust your cryptocurrencies of decentralised projects to a centralised exchange?
My cryptocurrencies must always be at my complete disposal.
I think the future is decentralisation, true decentralisation, and that is why in this Bear Market I keep accumulating tokens of projects with a high level of decentralisation.
High level of decentralisation = high level of security.
Hive was the first blockchain project where I saw potential and it is the blockchain project where I have a long term vision and where I have long term goals.
Hive's blockchain definitely has aspects that can be improved, but in my opinion Hive is one of the blockchain projects with the highest level of decentralisation and it is also the blockchain project in which I have found the most utility out of all the projects I have tried so far.
HIVE is not a token of a centralised exchange.
HIVE is the token of a fully decentralised, fast blockchain with 0 transaction costs.
HIVE is the token of an ever-expanding ecosystem of projects, sites and communities.
On Hive I have definite growth goals and every month I publish a report on my progress in my Hive blog.
The Hive blockchain has 2 tokens of currency:
- HIVE
- Hive Backed Dollars (HBD)
Hive also has a token that measures the influence of a user within the blockchain:
- Hive Power (HP) = HIVE staked.
HBDs and HIVE tokens when maintained in the liquid state do not allow the user to receive interest or rewards.
HBDs** placed in Savings (3 days withdraw waiting period) allow to receive an APR of 20%.
HIVE tokens put in staking become Hive Power (HP) and allow APR of about 10%-12% (staking + curation activity)
I have always preferred to have more HP than HBD in savings because:
- HBDs in savings have only one advantage: APR 20%.
- the HP tokens even if they offer a lower APR than the HBD tokens in savings have many utilities and above all they allow you to have more weight within the Hive blockchain.
In my [Wallet]/@@leoglossary/leoglossary-wallet I have more than 35K Hive Power and I only have 1K HBD in savings.
For more than a year now I have decided to set the payment of my post rewards to 50% HP/50% HBD.
I made this choice because I wanted to have the option of converting my HBDs to HIVE tokens in the event that the value of the HIVE token was between $0.30 and $0.35 with the goal of increasing the number of HP tokens in my possession faster by taking advantage of the downward fluctuations of the HIVE token.
For this reason, the current value of the HIVE token ($0.33) is within my buying range.
Three days ago I made a bid and bought 303.03 HIVE with 100 HBD.
I also have two active bid offers that I made in case HIVE reached even lower values.
Today I did the withdraw of all the HBD tokens I had put in Savings: 1015.34 HBD
If in three days the value of the HIVE tokens will be the same as the current value (or less than $0.35) I will use all the HBD tokens in my possession to buy HIVE and then Power Up.
Based on the current value of HBD tokens and HIVE tokens with 1015.34 HBD I could purchase an amount of 2978.72 HIVE = 2978.7 HP.
If I can add almost 3000 HP to my Hive Power I can also reduce the estimated time to reach Orca status on Hive which is my current growth goal on the Hive blockchain: I still need to accumulate 20330 HP.
To buy HIVE tokens using HBD tokens (HBD-> HIVE) I like to use HiveHub DEV which offers in my opinion a much more advanced and at the same time user friendly interface than the Market section of https://wallet.hive.blog/market
I prefer to use the Advanced section of HiveHub DEV (https://hivehub.dev/market/advanced) but there are also the SWAP and BASIC sections which offer fewer options but are much easier to use especially for a new Hive user.
My plan is to be able to buy at least 3075 HIVE but I will only be able to do this if the value of HIVE tokens remains the same as it is now and if the value of HBD tokens returns close to the value of $1.

Those on Hive who are constantly powering down because they have short-term projects and goals will experience every decrease in Hive's value with sadness and frustration.
On the other hand, those who, like me, have medium to long term goals on Hive will experience this moment as a chance and an opportunity to consolidate their position in a blockchain project that has so much utility and so much potential (this is my personal opinion and not financial advice).

Important note
HIVE = $0.33? Non è un problema ma un'opportunità!
Gli ultimi 12 mesi non sono stati mesi positivi per il mondo delle blockchains.
Il crollo del valore di LUNA ha dato l'inizio al Bear Market che dura ormai da quasi un anno.
Dopo LUNA è arrivato il crollo di FTT (il token dell'exchange centralizzato FTX) a cui sono seguiti anche i fallimenti di altri exchange centralizzati più piccoli.
L'ultimo e recente evento che ha prodotto effetti negativi sul valore di quasi tutti i progetti blockchain è stata l'accusa della SEC nei confronti di Binance.
Il token BNB ha perso il 13.6% in un intervallo di tempo di 7 giorni.
L'attacco della SEC a Binance ha prodotto ripercussioni negative sul valore dei token di quasi tutti i progetti blockchain e questo dato è immediatamente visualizzabile guardando il grafico a bolle (intervallo di tempo di 7 giorni) del sito https://cryptobubbles.net/ relativo alle crittovalute che sono nella top 100 per capitalizzazione.
Ma già oggi quasi tutti i tokens hanno recuperato parte del valore perso il 5 giugno 2023
Quello che è successo a Binance non ha avuto gli stessi effetti causati da LUNA e da FTX perchè le accuse della SEC dovranno essere dimostrate e Binance ha già dichiarato di opporsi a queste accuse e quindi con molta probabilità ci sarà una lunga guerra legale.
Fortunatamente il mercato sembra essere già sulla strada del recupero.
Anche il valore del token HIVE che è il token del mio progetto blockchain preferito ha subito l'effetto negativo dell'accusa della SEC a Binance e infatti il 5 giugno il valore del token HIVE è passato da un valore di 0.354135$ ad un valore di 0.316828$ alle ore 16 del 6 giugno per poi riprendere parte del suo valore e oggi 8 giugno 2023 HIVE ha un valore di 0.338137$.
Io non sono un trader, non sono un consulente finanziario ma sono solo una semplice persona che ama la decentralizzazione e che ama la "filosofia" che sta dietro al termine blockchain.
In base al mio modesto punto di vista quello che è accaduto a LUNA tempo fa, quello che è accaduto a FTT e anche l'accusa recente a Binance sono tutti eventi collegati a progetti con un basso livello di decentralizzazione come LUNA oppure sono tutti eventi collegati a progetti che sono completamente centralizzati (FTX e Binance) anche se permettono di scambiare token di progetti decentralizzati.
Dopo quello che è successo a FTX ho completamente smesso di utilizzare gli exchange centralizzati.
Perchè affidare le proprie crittovalute di progetti decentralizzati a un exchange centralizzato?
Le mie crittovalute devono essere sempre a mia completa disposizione.
Penso che il futuro è la decentralizzazione, la vera decentralizzazione e per questo in questo Bear Market continuo ad accumulare token di progetti con un alto livello di decentralizzazione.
Alto livello di decentralizzazione = alto livello di sicurezza
Hive è stato il primo progetto blockchain in cui ho visto del potenziale ed è il progetto blockchain in cui ho una visione e degli obiettivi di medio-lungo termine.
La blockchain di Hive ha sicuramente degli aspetti migliorabili ma secondo me Hive è uno dei progetti blockchain con il livello più alto di decentralizzazione ed è anche il progetto blockchain in cui ho trovato più utilità tra quelli che ho provato fino ad oggi.
HIVE non è un token di un exchange centralizzato.
HIVE è il token di una blockchain completamente decentralizzata, veloce e con costi di transazione uguali a 0
HIVE è il token di un ecosistema di progetti, siti e tools in continua espansione.
Su Hive ho degli obiettivi di crescita ben precisi e ogni mese pubblico un resoconto sui miei progressi nel mio Hive blog.

Nel mio wallet ho più di 35K Hive Power e ho solo 1K HBD in savings.
Da più di un anno ho deciso di impostare il pagamento delle ricompense dei miei post in 50% HP/50% HBD.
Ho fatto questa scelta perchè volevo avere la possibilità di convertire i miei HBD in token HIVE nel caso in cui il valore del token HIVE avesse avuto un valore compreso tra 0.30$ e 0.35$ con l'obiettivo di aumentare in modo più veloce il numero dei token HP in mio possesso sfruttando le oscillazioni al ribasso dei token HIVE.
Il valore attuale del token HIVE (0.33$) è nel range di valori che rientra nel mio buying range.
Tre giorni fa ho effettuato un'offerta di acquisto bid e ho acquistato 303.03 HIVE con 100 HBD.
Ho anche due offerte di acquisto attive che ho effettuato nel caso HIVE avesse raggiunto dei valori ancora più bassi.
Oggi ho fatto il withdraw di tutti i token HBD che avevo messo in Savings: 1015.34 HBD
Se tra tre giorni il valore dei token HIVE sarà uguale a quello attuale (o inferiore a 0.35$) utilizzerò tutti i token HBD in mio possesso per acquistare HIVE per poi fare Power Up.
In base al valore attuale dei token HBD e dei token HIVE con 1015.34 HBD potrei acquistare un quantitativo di 2978.72 HIVE = 2978.7 HP.
Se riuscirò ad aggiungere quasi 3000 HP al mio Hive Power potrò anche ridurre il tempo stimato per raggiungere lo status di Orca su Hive che è il mio obiettivo attuale di crescita sulla blockchain di Hive: devo accumulare ancora 20330 HP.
Per effettuare le offerte di acquisto HBD -> HIVE mi piace utilizzare HiveHub DEV che offre secondo me un'interfaccia molto più avanzata e allo stesso tempo user friendly rispetto alla sezione Market di https://wallet.hive.blog/market

Il mio piano è di riuscire ad acquistare almeno 3075 HIVE ma potrò farlo solo se il valore dei token HIVE rimarrà uguale a quello attuale e se il valore dei token HBD ritornerà vicino al valore di 1$.
