We live in a world that financial freedom has made easier as time passes. There are simply new ways to make money online, and everyday something new comes up that makes things even easier. One of such things is blogging online, and making money from it. This couldn’t have been possible 10 years ago. One of the applications that made this easier is Instagram. What I mean is everything moves fast and 10 years from now, we might have some other application or technology that makes our lives easier. Hive and Instagram are two of my favorite social networks that I spend more time on.
I create content mainly for hive, but Instagram is also a good source of information. What I mean, in today’s world, one has to know how to manage his/her time because drowning in content reading or watching can waste your time. A time otherwise spent for making money. What I mean is one has to be strategic with their time. One of the ways you can take advantage of this fast-paced world is to use the skills you already have and combine it with the area you are passionate about and make money. This will lead to financial prosperity in the long term. I believe that short term financial prosperity is a myth and does not have any foundation in truth. Also, what I really see beneficial is that alongside making money with your passion, learning new skills you like can have a beneficial impact on you in the long term. Even if you take one hour a day to learn a new skill. It adds up, and YouTube is a great source to start.
For example, I am learning illustrator along to creating content on Hive, and I’m glad I made this decision to learn it. I have made a list of skills that I want to learn. What I learned is that you should pick them one by one. You can’t learn it all at the same time. You will get tired soon and leave it. Step by step is a good strategy. If you learn 4 skills a year. In 4 years, you know 8 skills that you can make money with.
I think hive would benefit from adding a space that people can share tutorials for free. So, that we grow together. A space that people can easily access. A place that is easy to find good information on. This way we work smarter together, and we add value to our desired community. Understanding dynamic market demand and trends is important in identifying what areas we should focus on. Solving people’s problems should be the number one goal. And as time passes, new concerns arise, which we should address.
I think the world moves towards something complicated. Technology advances and many people understand it less and less. Only those who keep up and bring new innovations to the table can be successful. And I think we should award quality posts with higher rewards so that people are encouraged to focus on quality, not quantity. I think investing a portion of the money could be very lucrative in the long term. Of course, we should find good projects, the ones we believe in, to spend our hard-earned money. For this, we should learn what people need. What needs to be improved? What changes we require in the long term. Money doesn’t bring complete satisfaction. But, feeling you’ve done something, that you added value, that you helped someone else have a better life is more important and brings personal satisfaction. This all requires commitment and consistency.
One of the smart things you can do is take courses by people who already done what you want to start. This will make you gain experience and avoid making their mistakes.
