Daily Thoughts: In Crypto always get paid twice

The most common way to make money when investing in something is to hope that someone after you will pay more i.e the price will go up.

I always try to make money more than one way. This can be lending out your asset, own ETH and lend it on Aave. It can be through a dividend, own BNB on Binance get dropped other assets. Or you can sell options, own BTC on Deribit and sell covered calls.

I spent most of today looking for ways to earn with the LEND I own, currently all I seen was the 1% APR offered on Binance. As a rule I don't use a centralized exchange if my return will be less than 5%.

I am kicking myself that I didn't know more about Uniswap, looks like I can earn a high percentage return there by providing liquidity. Some catches are, you need to lock up equal amounts of eth, so to unlock the value of your LEND you will need to use ETH that may already be earning value elsewhere, pretty much halving your expected returns. The other hurdle is the currently high fees on the ethereum network.

I will be spending the next few days researching it more, don't rush into investments, but I think I have found a home for my LEND.
