RE: GREED, FAMILY, DEATH

Death! I have experenced that is brings out the greed in familys, it brings out the worst in people.

It's really a picture of family dynamics and relationships. If parents teach their children to respect the property of others, then even when the property owner is dead, there's still a certain amount of respect for their property. It's strange taking possession of another's things because they are gone.

Having two grandparents die within a few weeks of each other, there's been a lot of house-cleaning. Grandchildren don't usually inherent much, but some. We place ourselves last in line, if there is something nobody wants and it's useful for us and our family, we'll accept it. But we are careful to demonstrate to our children how important it is to NOT be greedy and fight for valuables, and do not be frustrated or angry when the fighters end up walking away with them.
