I subcribe to a website that will alert me if there are any "scratch and dent" sales on pots and pans. I kept my eyes open and when an opportunity was presented for a new set of pans, I discussed the idea with Lauren. We agreed, it would be worth while picking up a new set, especially since we would not otherwise be able to afford a new set of pots and pans!
It's a 14 piece set (eight pots and pans) that sells for about $430 on Amazon. The "scratch and dent" direct purchase was $250. A lot more affordable for our family.
Best of all, when we inspected the products, we couldn't find a single scratch or dent in any of them! They all looked like they were in perfect condition.
One of the characteristics of this household is that we primarily cook our own meals. It's fairly rare that we get take out, or go out to a restaurant. So instead we buy ingredients and cook our own meals. That means that this cookware will be very well utilized and appreciated. They're certainly not decoration, these are very useful for our family!
The smiles were endless as we unpacked the new cookware. It's a blessing from the Most High that we are so appreciative of, He is so good and His mercy endures forever!
