Hello, Hivers, Cubs and Lions :)
I am sure you are already aware that the pHBD-USDC pool has been launched on PolyCUB Farms. I was fast asleep when it happened so I didn't see how it was during the first hours when it finally went live. There must have been so much excitement among the first players while there I was snoring into wonderland, lol! Well, it was past 1 am in my timezone so this cub was asleep after enjoying a blissful day out.

And to be very honest, I wasn't expecting it to be deployed this fast. I was thinking it might come around the 20th but I guess the LF Dev Team worked overtime and got it out much sooner than "sooniverse." And so I was really surprised when waking up Saturday morning (2 days ago on my timezone), I came across some articles already mentioning about tutorials on how to wrap HBD to pHBD and such. I mean, wow! Salute to LF Team!
Amazing of course!
But then I was caught off-guard. I don't even have any available HBD because the little I have are on savings and I don't intend on taking them out just yet. Anyway, the pHBD-USDC pool won't go away so there's no rushing for me :)
And to check for myself, I took a little tour in the PolyCUB world and noticed that the APR was 61.28% with the liquidity at $230k+ which is an amazing start. The target number of $5M may not be far-fetched, it may take a while though or might be sooner.
Visiting the farm again earlier today, the APR dropped a bit to 57.65% which is quite normal and understandable as more liquidity are going into the pool (current liquidity $238k, a 3% increase from last time). The APR may still drop as more liquidity are pushed into the pool but the LF team guarantees that it won't go below 30% so it's good, yeah?
So what am I to do now that the pHBD is already live?
I will still go with my initial goal of growing my Leo & Hive Power first while saving HBD too.
I am not closing my doors to the pool on PolyCUB of course. I will definitely give it a go. I just need to make up my mind where to pull some funds. The LF team doing their best to help ease the liquidity issues of HBD is commendable and I'd love to do my share, no matter how small it is because I believe that HBD gaining enough liquidity and getting out there is generally good for #HIVE too. But as I said, no rush, 'coz this isn't a race for me.
So yes, that's the plan for now.

Here's a little table I came up with using the basic info per my own understanding from my readings. (Please correct me where necessary.)
It is worthy to note that HBD being deployed off-chain is aimed to create more liquidity and may attract interest from players outside of the Hive ecosystem. And that may also lead to more new users coming onboard.
