Breaking the Ice [Soon After the Rebrand]

I pulled an almost all-nighter to not miss the Leo rebranding launch. The excitement of wanting to know what Leo becomes, the new logo, and the expected changes or so made me anxious but they got me through even when I was not feeling my best. I'd say it was all worth it. Being amongst the first to see the visual changes in the UI is a good story to tell someday, wouldn't it?

But yeah, everyone was so hyped, and most (if not all) loved the new graphic (logo) and the colors. Somehow, I had the notion that the "Leo" would still be carried to the new brand, and glad it did.

So INLEO it is!

Lots of thoughts have been put into this per Khal and I can only imagine the feelings he had to go through for this. But change is good and it's well accepted by the community so it's great. Kudos to him and the team behind this effort.

And yes, for those who are asking, it has been made official that any content is allowed in the interface - not only be siloed or limited to finance or crypto stuff but everything and anything. This I believe is just the beginning of a series of changes that may come to the Leo brand so it could live up to its mission or goal of becoming the Everything App in Web 3.

Change can be a bit awkward and personally, the idea of being able to create and publish any type of content here INLEO is welcoming but it still doesn't sink in 100%. I wonder if that's just me. But anyhow, this post is my way of breaking that ice so to speak and maybe, the next time I post non-finance or crypto stuff here InLeo, I won't be feeling the same awkwardness I'm having right now. LOL!

We recently adopted a beautiful, two-month-old boy. We were on the way home Friday and we were thinking about what name we would give him. "Hive?" I asked laughing. "Hive, come here!" that was the husband trying to check how it sounded, lol! "I think it doesn't fit" he continued.

Then after a few moments of laughter, he suggested Leo saying it's a general name and it can be befitting since I spend most of my time in LeoFinance. "Won't that sound too patronizing?" I said. "Why would it be?" he asked in return.

Yeah, right. "But then, LEO is rebranding soon," said I. "What would the new name be?" he asked further.

To cut the story short, we tried calling our little boy "Leo" during his first two days here at home but he wouldn't budge. He doesn't want to be called such, at least that's how we interpreted it. So yep, the name was dropped.

Then we played around with some more names and he seemed not to hear any. Then Sunday, the husband called him "Anyeong" and he responded quickly by running to him, jumping up and down like a kid who got excited about something.

"Anyeong... really?" I was in disbelief.

"Leo, come let's eat," the farmboy tested him yet again and he just stared and did nothing. "Anyeong, come let's eat," he called out and he ran to him in no time, lol!

Guess I will have to resign to the idea that his name is going to be that, or perhaps I will still try something else, haha!

Anyhow, that's just my wee story for the day, and congratulations to the new brand! Can't wait to hear or read what more is coming. Speaking of which, the first INLEO AMA is happening in approximately 13 hours from now. There will be some important announcements they say - of when the InLeo Ads smart contract will start distributing revenues to LEO stakeholders and other things.
