Hello, everyone! I hope you are all faring well this weekend and of course, always :)
Sometime ago, I read that there is more to Hive than just blogging. And so from that time, I made it a goal that when I get settled into the writing side, I would explore more of the blockchain. And what a great timing when LeoFinance announced about the PolyCUB Airdrop and knowing that I have some small stash of CUB in the Dens, I decided to check it out. I then transferred the CUB from the Dens to the Kingdoms but missed the first 10 days of the airdrop as I had some difficulty in claiming them until I got into the LeoFinance Discord where my issue was solved.
So yes, I think this is the beginning of my journey in LeoFinance. I'm challenged 'coz I feel I'm a bit late for the party, but the goal is to keep learning so that's just what I am gonna do, one day at a time.
After watching the PolyCUB Ultimate Guide by @mikedcrypto days ago, I went buying some PolyCUB with my Matic (via sushiswap). Also took out some of my exchange account funds, bought CUBs which I then staked on the CUB Kingdoms to take advantage of the airdrops. I claim the PolyCUB drops everyday and keep staking them to the xPolyCUB pool.
And today, I went on a little adventure via the following:
- Getting pLeo through the Leo Bridge from the Hive blockchain to Polygon network. I bought a small amount of LEO yesterday via TribalDex for the sole purpose of this experiment and so here's to record my very first bridge experience.
- Buying PolyCUB via ParaSwap then staking them to the xPolyCUB pool. After receiving my pLEO on my Polygon wallet, I headed to ParaSwap for my very first trade. But when trying to swap pLEO to PolyCUB, I noticed that the impact price was too high so I had to go the longer route: pLEO to Matic then Matic to PolyCUB.
This little experiment was flawless so I won't be hesitant anymore to use them with a larger amount. (NOT a Financial Advice!)
- And the third thing I'm doing today is this, writing and publishing my very first post here in the LeoFinance front-end/interface. I was actually having second thoughts on doing this but hell, I wanna learn and this is one way of learning for me so I'm loosening up, lol! I have a long way to go but will keep treading forward.
And then yes, there is the PolyCUB Bonding Protocol which I have been reading for some days now, an intriguing development that I would sure look into when it goes live. I may consider taking out my idle ETH for this, but will see.
So this is it, my couple of firsts! Thank you and have a fabulous weekend!
